I have seen such childishness among a group of so-called adults that have in the past proclaimed themselves to be honorable, warm and sincere. But they seem to have forgotten that as they sit alone, giggling silently in front of their computers typing and sniping, (tsnyping -for you neophiles) as they hurl their insults my way. How very rude. There is no justification for such behavior.
The avatar thing gets funnier by the minute. You really can't believe in this day and age, where strangers stroll around the internet looking for photos and personal information about others, that the little picture has to be an actual shot of the person. While there are those who welcome strangers to look inside their lives and even post photo albums of their families and homes, I choose not to do so. I enlisted the aid of my child to browse through the files on this computer to find a shot of the dog. When the practice shot finally posted a couple of days later, and we still hadn't loaded the dog's photo I was looking for, I really didn't give it any more thought. Apparently there were some who spent way too much time thinking about it though. Do we have to be reminded that these little pictures come with neither a legally binding validity clause nor a duty to inform. Don't think for a minute that if I had made any reference to it, that the same circuitous tsnyping would not have continued . Which actually just goes to show that it matters very little what I actually either have said or have not said, as long as you all can make stuff up to suit your purpose regardless of it's "truthiness."
But I have learned one thing here tonight - if you delete your posts you can swear up and down that "I didn't say that" and then you can play ignorant . Except it's not much of an act, is it?
