Kwame Kilpatrick stand to profit the most from his stimulus plan. Most of Kilpatrick's supporters are people that he does business with; which many are general contractors. These are  many of  the people that are contributing to his legal fund, and also to his campaign  fund.  All of the money left over from his campaign fund  can be donated to any non-profit organization of his choice.  Not to mention the fact that  Kilpartrick and his family has a couple of non-profit organizations humm...... now isn't that interesting.

Now, what happens when the casinos loss money and we can not pay back this huge loan from Kilpatrick's stimulus plan? Well lets see Greek town casino is already in trouble, if not for some investors they would probably be closing their doors. Now how do you think we would pay back this huge loan? Kwame will raise city and  property tax just like he did for Detroit's bulk pick up, and yes I said bulk pick up  because if it's on our home tax bill and everyone has to pay it  then,  it's a tax. We were not allowed to vote on it. Another way the we will have to pay back this loan is through more sale of Detroit's crown  jewels. Now the Windsor - Detroit tunnel is next on the list for sale in order to balance the city budget for 2006 with other "surplus property", whatever that property may be.

Kilpatrick administration has laid off many of Detroit workers and has outsource much of Detroit's work to contractors.  Contractors like his friend Furgerson; you know the one that received  multi-millions of dollars in contracts from the city.( the one that beat up someone with a baseball bat)  But yet we outsource to save money. Yaaa.... right.....

Our Mayor never mention the fact that he had already closed up many of our police and fire departements. He never mention the recreation centers that he closed and  some of the small neighborhood  parks that he has  either sold or is still in the process of selling; part of the reason why we see so many kids out in the streets. He never mention the fact that the three hundred police officers that are being hired are replacement  officers for the five hundred that suppose to be retiring from the force. Well I guess he's trying to get more stuff that he can pat himself on the back for. Not to mention divert attention from one of  his many scandals.

springthing. As old and tired as the subject of this bottom-feeding , bloodsucking man is; thank you for keeping us alert. It appears, that just in case he has to make fast tracks out of town, he and his infamous family and friends are looting the city's resources as quickly and completely as possible. Listen, short of Worthy throeing him in jail or Granholm removing him , we don't stand a chance. I was a part of the group who tried to save the Children's Zoo and the 100 year old aquarium (along with MY family) to no avail. He just laughed at the fundraising efforts, the petitions, pickets and pleas from the children. At his townhall meeting at Northwest Activities Center he said "We, don't take our kids to the aquariun and the Children's Zoo anyway. Those facilities are old, broken down and a drain on the city;. THAT IS WHEN MY THEN 3 AND 6 YEAR OLD NIECE AND NEpHEWS SAID THE MAYOR IS A BAD MAN AND DOESN'T LIKE KIDS". out of the mouth of babes! My kids are probably more informed than these adults who still support Kilpatrick But Springtime you bring up a good point regarding the profile of his main supporters: Those who profit from out-sourcing contracts, unearned positions they are unqualified to hold. Including his "idiot sister", his bat-wielding(alledged) stay-at home wife, his Human Resources Manager cousin, and countless others who represent the "dark side of Detroit'. And his tv show guests, Monica Conyers and Ella Bully-Cummings. This garbage stinks!

Marygrove and Shockhazard, I just can't give up believing that justice will be served. No matter how many high price attorneys he hires, and no matter how much they twist, turn and manipulate the truth. I spent most of my life during volunteer work in this city, just knowing that someday Detroit will really come back to life. I get really frustrated sometimes but I'm not giving up, (although the area that I stay in is over taxed, home insurance is too high, home values has dropped we have to pay for our own security)But I'm not giving up.... well not just yet (lol)!

Great Post. I am a Native Born Detroiter and am sick of people saying people from the suburbs should not comment on the mayor. All I can say if you moved to Detroit and where not born here then shut your mouth!!! I have more rights than they do! I am Detroit. I can't wait for this asXXole to go to Jail! And Bully-Cummings is as corrupt as they come or as stupid as they come. She is right in on the bid rigging and everything else. Let the truth shine and it will set you free. KK give it up you fool and resign in the disgrace you deserve!

1SonofLiberty, anybody can talk about Kilpatrick this is america! the land of the free; although I feel like I'm being held hostage by Kwame Kilpatrick. Kwame if you're reading this LET OUR PEOPLE GO!SET US FREE! JUST GO! I hope he got the message. So many people don't live in the city but they pay taxes in the city.Besides a great part of what goes on in the city of Detroit, affects the rest of metro Detroit as well. Did you hear the latest? Kilpatrick gave the Judge that suppose to hear his case wife, a political donation of one thousand dollars. The judge claim he didn't know anything about it, he said that his wife mention the names of some people whom had donated money but not the Mayor's name...yaaaa right. I'm starting to wonder about this guy who was approved to start the recall process. I do not know one person that has been asked to sign the petition,do you? I wonder was he put up to start the recall in order to stop someone else from doing it? That's how KK works you know.

Michigandaisy, I don't understand. Is this the recall that had to be approved, is this the official petition? and if so is this the only way to sign the petition, on the internet? Because if it is we're in trouble. Everyone does not go on the internet.

Springthing I agree justice will prevail, and the city will eventually be freed of this parasite. Yet I became a bit anxious when I learned Kilpatrick contributed that grand to the wife of the judge who will decide whether or not this case is bound over for trial. I was further concerned when Kim Worthy said She was unaware. This guy is slippery as an eel! Where the heck is the recall petition?

Marygrove, everyone is asking where is the recall petition. You know what I'm beginning to get very suspicious about this recall petition. I was out and about today, including at the eastern market, grocery store, mini shopping centers. Guess what, no petition. What is this petition that Michigandaisy is talkng about that you can sign on the internet? He also said that anybody can sign it?????? I don't get it, do you? I'm beginning to think that the guy who was approved for the real petition is not serious and that he just wanted to block anybody else from doing it. What do you think Marygrove?
