I think it would be great to have a woman as pres or vice pres,don't care how many kids they have. when your that rich they have nannies and such to care for them when they are not around. my concern is the real reason McCain chose Palin. Obama should of taken Hillary or really hillary should of been nominated instead of Obama.

Shock, I am cautious also. I like Palin, but did McCain pick her because he wants to be in touch with the Middle class or does he want to make it appear he does?

Sarge-m, McCain had been in talks with Palin since February but the media didn't have wind of it. I believe he liked her work in Alaska at rooting out corruption in the republican party as well as national security work with the military (nat'l guard) having the Russians as neighbors. I'm sure the fact that she's female didn't hurt but I don't believe it was his main reason.

And Shock, that white dress so it matched the stove crack was funny as hell.

The BLAME for the current impending tax horror rests with CLINTON. When he repealed the legal safeguards that had been implimented in the 1930s to safe-quard against another great depression, he set the stage for the current econonic crap. That it is happening in the current Republican admin is misleading, as it's seminal stages were implimented under a greedy DEMOCRATIC administration.
