I want every parent to be aware that Carroll County Board of Eduation does not give

the graduating seniors the grades for the whole last nine weeks of their high school career. They only average the 1st - 3rd nine weeks of grades to calculate the GPA.

How is this possibe?

Obviously they do not care as much for our students as other counties!!!!

If you are as upset about this stupid rule as I am please email or call our  superintendent.

I am from VR and went through this when I graduated in 1996. My cousin is going through this now and they are telling her that she will not graduate if an assignment from last week is not complete. We have been working with Ms. Dorothy Brton Calloway. She was a teacher of mine and is a family friend. I have children in CC schools and am VERY concerned when they get into HS. I hope they can get their acts together B4 we end up like other counties....
