What really has me PIVED... Why has the word presumptive all of a sudden been erected like a long lost treasure. Ever y comment about Obama starts with the word the presumptive. The Darryl story about Barac coming to town just took the cake. An I know at the end of the piece. Darryl mentioned Mccain in the same fashion but I think that may have just been an attempt to deflect the Obama direct association with the word.  If all other Democratic candidates have conceded and they have, do we really have to wait to the convention before he is the democratic nominee. I understand that you guyes over at the station are just doing the 9 to 5 and reading the telaprompter. But we as a people have come so far and although we still have a long way to go... To see brothers and sisters on the air with loyalty to the 9 to 5 and no social concious, unity/pride. It kind of sets me off. Just watch how many times presumptive is used in relation to Obama. Compared with how many times it is used with Mccain. It's minor but yet BIG. It would be one thing if we were in Utah, Wyoming, New York but this is suppose to be the heart of Black America...

Obama will be the presumtive loser soon. Even the most liberal experts are shocked at the Media who is in the tank. ABCnews guy Ted Coppel even called the media talking up Obama is insane and borders on corruption.

Rome wasn't built in a day. An even if we lose 250 million to one. I will be that one voting for him... The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. An I just feel good knowing that were one step closer...

War is not just having control of countries. Radical Muslims around the world are kicking our ass. Doing it with chump change. We are spending our "way of life" into the ground. We will become like the USSR. A huge military with a poor standard of living for it's people.(They collasped).
In 2007 alone we spent 505 billion on defense. Out of that 505 billion we spent 73 billion for (Research, Development, Test and Evaluation). 46 billion on homeland security. How much do you think the radical Muslims spent.
Our country became dominant through industry fueled by cheap energy. How much did we spend on renewables in 2007? 2 billion. Do you really think we would be at war in Iraq if we weren't worried about oil?

What i personally think is that... The Hierarchy of the world is firmly established and we will never be moved from the spot we hold. The after the cold war the fate and state has been set. If davids blow had not have been fatal he would have lost t golith. There is no other country that can compare to our establishment. No other county has the educational institutions to compete. Eceryone comes here. No other one is as callus, nor has a by any means necessary creed. An finally NO ONE has MORE GUNS nor use them as frequent as we.

What a bogus, miniscule, hypersensitive,,
phobic, paranoid, nitpicky, knat of a point to get "peaved" about !
Meanwhile mouthpiece, you missed the camel train of o b v i o u s media bias
in favor of Obama (naturally & predictably).
Your lack of balanced reasoning just go'es to show; that maybe the black community is not ready for even a half black president....
What would we all have to look forward to -
- Four years of everytime Obama was critized because someone did'nt agree with his policies, that the whole black community("your people") falls in lockstep behind Obama, to call any desenters racially prejudiced ???
Apparently mouthpiece, you lack any tolerence for diversity in opinions on Barack if some
'brother' or 'sister' does'nt conform to the restrictive confines of Afropop identity-unity/pride. Your lead blog observation post
lacks depth, meaningfulness or any thoughtful worth.

GfG , my comment was about the media and it's presumptive labeling... I was intially for Ron. An it sounds like you may have some enormous chip on your shoulder. Attempting to be little me. When more than likely i'm better than you in all aspects of the word. Anytime you really won't to chat, just let me know and we can get up... I just ask one thing of you, and that's... TALK directly into the MIC.

another time, another subject then...
this presumptive labeling conspiracy is too much of a trifle over a nanofraction.

Gentle persons, my 2 cents, presumptive only means that the democratic party hasn't ratified Obama's nomination yet both candidates are presumptive until they both go the their conventions and ARE truly nominated by their respective parties by a roll count of delegates. Then it's second by the majority of the conventioneers, or something to that effect.
The other penny's worth, Naturally a liberal media is gonna throw blooms on their darling candidate, they thrashed Hillary in favor of Obama. The equal sequel is when he actually gets nominated, then they'll shower him with bouquets of gushing tripe the press is like fleas on the dogs back to irritatingly close to the skin.

Rome may have not been built in a day, but are you sure that you want Rome? The empire that fell because of its own atrocities and corruption? Well, at least the Roman Empire lasted longer than our nation will, the way we are going......we arent even half of its age when it fell. Go figure.

57 it's good to read the blog before you leave those two cents... We know the def. of presumptive and we understand the process. Thanks anyway... Believe you me,.. your two cents is worth more than some of these other anal bloggers... I really appreciate the contribution.

Talk about anal,
you're keeping a score card about
which candidate gets mentioned as
presumptive more often !
Then you appeal to the racial heritage or regional heritage of reporters to have;
"social conscious,unity/pride"... admonishing them to be sensitive that; the word "presumptive" may be offensive to southern blacks ! LOL !
You envoked race over a non issue. You see offense where there is none...and then you setup a blog on a meaningless thesis thinking it would demonstrate how politically perceptive you were - or what ?
Oh Boo Hoo -(nobody knows the trouble I've seen) - McCain was called presumptive but Obama was called presumptive even more... ????
Now, that contention is frivilous & anal.

(yeah Mouthpeace, I read the lead post- yes Tim, I know why presumtive is used as a political term)

GfG, I never said I wasn't anal....2nd I didn't say this wasn't stretching to find racism. A few months ago when all the bigots had reared there heads about mike and rev. wright and Barry Bonds. I felt like well if i converse with them at least i know what there thinking and for a few minutes a day the world appears as it really is. It's hard to believe your the only one still out there gfg. An finallysense you seem to have time to read my blog. Can you at least comment on the actual post. Is my statement true or fuloneous. An if you could be honest.

Honestly MP, I don't know if your observation is true- as to Obama being described as a "presumptive nominee" more than McCain is.
I'll give you a benefit of a doubt and assume your scoring count is correct. But your point is moot- it means nothing. Certainly you could have made the pointless observation without interjecting a racial overtone to it.
As to some past blogs about Mike? & Barry?-
I did not participate in them or read them.
In regard to the RevWright blog ...the only obviously bigoted comments posted were from you- mouthpeace.(I also think your blog thesis suggests some race baiting on your part). Judging by your lead post,
I see you still look at the world from a racially obsessed perspective and see conspiracies everywhere - even in an benign
Fox5news report. I'm sure they appreciate your your pointing out that they were racially insensitive. Maybe they'll send you a thankyou note for picking that microscopic splinter out of their story. It's amazing to me that you can see those little specks thru the logjam in front of your TV.

You're the man Mouthpeace !
I'll inform McCain's campaign headquaters that fox5 has shown favoritism to Obama by refering to him more accurately & more often as a party's presumptive nominee ;-)

I'll try to take it easy on the ajectives next time.

Maybe you might want to start a blog about Jesse Jackson wanting to "cut the nuts off" Obama. I don't think Tom will touch that subject !
see ya around....
