Could it be that in Old W's last days he's mashing the pedal to the medal and rachting up the gas and taking it for all it's worth. What a coincidence, gas prices would shoot through the roof during his last days. I thought or occupation of an oil rich country would some how reflect positively in some respects to our economy. Instead it's jacked up all the way around.  The bible sayes that a mans beginning is not to be judged but once he's life is complete then you can tell. Hence I understand the 9/11 attacks and need for a response. But I can't understand how we can blaze a trail to the heart of  baghdad within 6 months and still be stuck there seven years later. If were this ineffective against pockets of resistance I would hate to see us take on a standing army. Post your comments but I really just want you to pay attention to the world around you.

Old W'S? If your referring to H.W. Bush the jr.
took me a minute to catch it. Ya did know he has holdings both in fossil fuel and natural gas right. Um yea we should be buying Iraqi oil and we are while citizens in Iraq are paying $1.80 a gallon we're paying them $3.79 a gallon over there hummf. Ain't that a hoot! all to help their economy. while ruining ours with his economics package. Military failure in Iraq is due to under-estimation of secular forces and the fact that we refuse to stop Syria's support of enemy insurgents as well as the en-eptness of the Iraqi government to bring tribal factions together. Not OUR Military forces. They have to follow what orders the Administration lays down it's Bush's failing policy not our Soldier's fault when it comes to actions on the ground. And if anyone says different then I got a bone to pick with them. Our Military is the most well trained most advanced force in the world to date! perhap you should be paying more attention to the world your living within.
Until you've walked a patrol in Bagdhad I wouldn't go kicking up bad sentiment toward our G.I.'s. .:(!)....trippy

The main point I was trying to conspire about is... were occupying Iraq and instead of our Gas prices going down in Bushes last days they have sky rocketed. As well as if anyone with any kind of logical reasoning should be able to surmise. An our army being what it is could have been through with its mission if the gov. had of not been inept...So in other words the troops could have been home just like yourself. If Bush wanted that...As long as we occupy then there will be special oil arrangements...

Mouthpeace, it's not Bush, it's OPEC and outside speculators that are driving up oil prices as well as our own oil co.'s they claim that because of Katrina some of their refineries aren't in full operation or still in dis-repair. As for OPEC they also supply much of the oil that China and Europe are using therefore demand over there is up & increasing,
while OPEC keeps lowering production quotas.
Wildcat Hedgefunders are buying up huge blocks of smaller oil co.'s stocks then bloating there prospectus portfolio and selling or trading in for money market or such accounts.
Iraqi oil isn't producing as much as you might think and most of the monies generated from what little they do produce go's back into Iraqi's GNP & to pay for war reconstruction. If your searching for a conspiracy then you might start with the Fed's inability to protect the U.S. consumer
against the aforementioned pirates of our pocket books, oil prices have steadily been increasing over claims of labor costs & inflation for years. WARNING! If CAP & Trade is passed it's going to get much, much worse.
Trippy..:(!)

I don't know Trippy... For some reason I always understand your post but I feel you never quite grasp what I'm saying... This will be my final attempt to explain what I'm saying. Thanks for participating though. Okay sense we occupy Iraq currently. There has to be some benefit other than establishing democracy. We don't care about the Iraq way of life that much. Sense we are there i can't help but believe we are acquiring some oil from them. Regardless of how small there amount of production or yield maybe. Our arrangement has to be currently better than what it was before we occupied. 2ndly with this advantage why are prices sky rocketing. The biggest change in the world currently is the changing of our leadership Bush is headed out. So the prices are rachting up. Do you know the price of oil in chile??? Is it possible that the current administration has personnel interest in OPEC and the other oil conglomerates??? I hope I got my spiracey across. An I appreciate your willingness to share your education with the uneducated.
