Just to inform you I love wrestling. I am a big WWE fan. And yes, I know its fake. But the pain can sometimes be real.

Anyways, I am writing because I found out that there were 10 wrestlers that are now suspended for failing the drug test. Nine of them are 1st time offenders so they get a 30 day suspension. The tenth is a 2 time offender he gets 60 days.  There might be more today. All without pay. Then there is the 3rd strike and your out rule. Plain ole' "YOUR FIRED" from Vince himself.  The wrestlers in all were also informed that as of NOV 1, if they were to fail the test, that their name will be announced publicly.

Now, I am personally not surprised by these actions. And to be honest, I think that the names do not need to be announced until there is the final exit. We as fans, or the public do not have the right to know. That is intentional public humiliation.  Just like I don't think that they should do that in baseball or football either until they get kicked out. Then you realize why they have been suspended for 30 or 60 days. Or 3-6 games. That's just wrong.

I know that others will disagree with what I had say but, say your peace...

DO YOU THINK THERE GOING TO BE BANNED FROM WRESTLING FOR LIFE? SHOULD THEY?

I truly do believe in the 3 strikes and your out rule. When you are given chance after chance after chance to clean yourself up, then yeah.
It is almost like the NO PASS NO PLAY in HS. Except it is drugs, not grades.
I don't think that they will get banned for life from wrestling, there are other wrestling companies that will take them. Look at Kurt Angle, he got fired for his steroid abuse, now he is in TNA wrestling.

Yes, they should. When you've been warned over and over again about the same issue, the only action that seems to stick is a drastic one.

I'm not saying that this applies to YOU, but it's interesting how everyone is ready to throw Mike Vick under a bus, but we're willing to at least ask the question about the wrestlers losing their livelihood after a whole 3 strikes. LOL.

Hmmm...

Wait a minute here,

"how everyone is ready to throw Mike Vick under a bus" ?

Mike Vick through HIMSELF under the bus! With the exception of Chris Benoit, I don't know of any other wrestler killing anyone. (Besides, if Chris had somehow survived his murderous rampage, I'm sure he would have been met with much more disdain from everyone than Mike V. has endured.) So, Mike Vick and Steroid use in the WWE are not a comparable pair.

Mike Vick is a cruel inhumane person that got off with LESS than what he deserved!

I mean what's next MIKE? Beating up on special needs children? Maybe that will make you a man. But don't blame him, blame his surroundings where he was brought up (as Whoopi would say). Which by the way is B.S!

I was brought up where we had to sometimes sleep on the floor because of GUNSHOTS right outside our door! You don't see me running around shooting up the town!

I guess if you're a weak minded person that's a good excuse for you to believe however, it's not the truth!

Well, technically Vick would have the 3 strikes and your out rule if behavior is concerned. First there is the finger. Which is very disrespectful to Atlanta and his fans. Then there is the weed in the airport, and then there is the dog fighting issue. So that would not be just one mistake.
And as the caveman said, Benoit would have been under a lot more scrutiny than Vick. I mean he killed his child! I am by no means excusing Vick.
No matter your upbringing, you have the means to change your who you want to be and how you want to live.
Sorry to hear of your past Caveman---

Thanks Maymae,

I'm over it now. You're right, we all have had different upbringings but only those with some horse sense realize that you can be whatever kind of person you want with a little determination and work.

But hell, what do I know? I'm just a CAVEMAN.
:P
