Hello everyone My name's James and i'm a new member here, & i wanted to create my blog speaking on the issue of so many people losing their homes in Georgia, and other counties and states. I really don't know what to say the real cause is of so many good people having to give up an investment that they've worked so hard to maintain but i will say that one day i do hope that the people that have lost their homes to foreclosure, will have the courage to buy another one.

I will never say that all citizens have lost their homes due to living outside of their means, because even Stevie Wonder can see that's a bold face lie! when i look at the economy today i have so much respect for those men and women that get up at the very early morning dawn just to make the day complete for those of us that get up alot later in the morning to go to work and to school. I am a firm believer that we as a people should begin to stick together and help each other and stop waiting on city government or the state government to come to our rescue.

I would love to see the young men and women helping the older generation more, and the older generation being more of an example for the young men and women, to show them that we can be a powerful influence in the neighborhoods we live in, if we work together for the same common goal.

To you men and women that i see everyday going to work in the restaurants, hotels, the police station, the elementary & high school, the banks, and most importantly you single and married mothers of the homes you take care of so well, also the city workers from the trash collector to the solicitor in traffic court. I THANK YOU! And last but not least the men that are real fathers to their children doing what a father should do, you deserve a thank you as well just for staying and helping to raise your children along with their mother.

Why do i thank you all? because i feel that you don't hear those words enough. Just know i appreciate you for all that you do, and even if i don't know you or ever meet you all, i still say thank you. I could name many more men and women that deserves a real and honest thank you but i only have so little time to do so.

In closing i hope that my blog inspires you all to think of what i've said here and make a difference in someone's life today.

The words you speak are very well needed.I personally have help raise my grand children,And I have worked two jobs almost all my life,or had one job and going to school. to provide for my children. I dont regret any of it.but now that I am an elder,I find no help, my children live far away.I thank God that my home is paid for.sure it took a long time, tight budjets, but it worked.I see homes empty, and I wonder what happen, because I remember just a few weeks ago, I saw little children playing.even though I am 65, I find great joy to assist other elderd. ones who has to go to the dr,or get grocerys,to church, even funerals. and cant drive them selves.their is verry little I can do money wise for people, but I can care.God has give me a good mind, and good health.I realy appreciate your blog, its refreshing to read some ting other than the election. Keep putting out good things, others will get in. thank you.

I know some of my friends have lost their home. Jaybird, it is not about they could not affod their home. So many people or losing their jobs. Some have to take a cut in pay. So be a little concern about people. I hope that our economy get better so people can go back taking care of their family. I don't wish anyone to lose their home. My prayers go out to everyone who have lost heir home. I leave you with one thing God will take care of you and your family. Just don't lose faith and I know it is hard, but remember don't listen to the negative talk from people who don' seem to care about others. My friend had a very good job but the downsize and but of pay did not help. I love everyone and I wish the best for those families. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

First of all JayBird5496 i don't have any interest in reading what you have to say when you make the statement someone should not have moved into a house they couldn't afford! i strongly feel everyone has the right to atleast have a chance at home ownership. You can have your opinion but on my blog i'm not going to stand in judgement of the reasons a person shouldn't have the opportunity to purchase or live in a home.

The economy has made it impossible for the people with the good jobs and excellent credit to keep their homes too! and there are rich people even downsizing their own homes to move to a more affordable home. I'm going to encourage anyone who owned or rented a home the best of luck and i strongly feel that when and if the economy gets better i hope to see or read that those people who lost their homes gets another one.

I'm so tired of people having the reasons for why some lost a home, but no solution to help keep them in it? and i'm going to strongly suggest to anyone who may read my blog, if you have nothing encouraging to say on my blog don't comment on it at all. My blogs are about encouraging, or empowering others, there's enough trash talking going around, and that i'm not interested in.
