A Marine Murder:

Over the past several days I've watched the horrible display of what seems to be a contemporary way of solving problems! A young Marine women was raped,by another Marine at Lejeune in N.C. The young women was impregnated by the rape and had almost come to term with the pregnancy when she disappeared. The horrible truth was relized the other day when her charred remains were discovered in the rapists back yard trash pit! This is not an indictment of the Corp.or the U.C.M.J. but surely someone dropped the ball on this young Marine women and her baby's lives!That will be dealt with I'm sure. What gets me,is where do these people come from today that would murder a young pretty women,(slit her throat) that he has communicated with for the last 6 mos.?  Murdered his child in fact!  Is it just me or are people today much more callus and brutal when it comes to remedying situations today? It just seems like their hell bent on making a bad situation worse,for everyone involved! I'll say a prayer for her,and hope that when he is strapped into  the chair he is shaking in his boots!!

jaddedude, it is like they are playing a video game. Kill someone, and there are no consequences or accountability. The high value of life that we grew up with are simply not present anymore.
You think that someone "disses" you or one of your gangsta buddies or beeatches, you kill them. And afterwards you are out there high fivin' because you killed or maimed them. WTF is wrong with that mentality? They don't have an iota of remorse or sorrow, that is until they may receive the DP themselves. Then they fill appeal after appeal, and do whatever they can to avoid their own miserable demise.
