I am a resident of Paulding County and a taxpayer 10,000.00 dollars in property taxes just paid. As far as our sheriff and our sheriffs department, Mr. Travis, I feel like the interview and report you have done is a crying shame. Mr. Harris has lost things that mean alot more to him than this job. Before people speak they should place themselves in the shoes of the people the are trying to "expose" I can assure that most people would have a difficult time returning to a job with the stress he has , when he has been through the loss of a child. A CHILD IS EVERYTHING TO A PARENT, NOT A JOB!! Furthermore, I am sure this disgruntled employee was not so dissatisfied with the goings on in this county until this person was demoted. As far as county vehicles, the people in this county need to pay attention to other county employees with "govt" written on the back. These vehicles should be parked at the end of each day and no one allowed to dirve them home unless you are a 24 hour a day servant to our community. I have seen vehicles driven to buy lottery tickets after hours. I could go on and on, but all that I truly have to say, is that as far as a man in our community, Mr. Harris is an honest man, treats his employers with respect and if he says he will do something, you better believe he will. As far as a politician, he truthfully may not be much different than the rest of politicians or most reporters we know.
