Loving political opinions, loving a good debate, most of all the ability to ask hard hit questions, with no fear, Mr. Russert was my guy, for the people. Mr. Russert incased the true meaning of journalism, with a humble and presitant soul and spirit.
Sunday mornings will not be the same for me with meet the press, because with his (Mr. Russert's) sweet and innumerable abilities to capture the polticans on bended knee, was never ever surpassed.
There is a old saying : " Only the good die young", I think this saying fits Mr Russert.
On Late Night with Conan O'Brien, O"Brien showed a couple of special moments he personally had with Mr. Russert, One was very uplifting with me ,and that interview incased Mr. Russert's interview with Pope John Paul the II. The way Mr Russert's eyes shined with such beauty as he spoke about seeing and talking to Pope John Paul ,showed me that Mr. Russert's love for God and the church was Illuminating for himself. There is no doubt that he is talking to the Pope now in heaven as we miss him here with us, having interviews with people centuries before, so heaven is embracing Mr. Russert no doubt. Mr Russert's transfiguration is given from God, and he transended into heaven, so there was no sting of death for him only glorification.
Remeber to be absent from the flesh is to be present before God.
