Sunday and Monday Iran and Iraq are trying to become neighbors, which is a good thing. To achieve a balance between Tehran and Iraq Al-Maliki must start operating with pure unity with the Iraq people and the Shiite Cleric. The Shiite dominated Iraq might want to step up to the plate, and take Iran their brother Shiites and become a sovereign nation with out the US. This would be a good thing. But at this time it looks like Al-Maliki is trying to get Khamenei's approval to keep the US there with permant bases.

Khamenei is quoted as telling Al-Maliki, The US will not achieve it's goal in Iraq and that, the occupiers who interfere in Iraq affairs through their military and security might... are the main problems. Iran's state TV quoted Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as saying Monday. This proposed security pact also faces strong criticism from members of Al-Maliki's own Shiite-dominated coalition in Iraq. Khamenei quoted as saying, Iraqis have to think of a solution to free themselves from the US military. The Americans must not decide the fate of their country,(Iraq). Interesting enough that two Iraq Officials familiar with the negotiations warned on Sunday, that some demands are seen as American forces having to much freedom to operate in Iraq and infringing on Iraqi sovereignty. These people spoke on anonymity, because of secreacy.

It is evident that Iran does not want the US bases on it front door steps, which could also lead to permant bases. I can see their point and case.

Weren't we (US) planning on leaving Iraq? What are we securing, or plan on securing for a lifetime, for those TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS and COUNTLESS LIVES we have spent?

Lets just put it out there!! It is all their Oil Fields, for now and forever until death do us part. Someone said to me recently think about it, why else would they spend trillions and trillons of dollars in Iraq unless we didn't plan on taking something for it. Makes alot of sense now specially with those new bases in negotiations. What happened with Chevron and Royal Dutch 2 year talks with purchasing of the 3rd largest oil producing oil rig in the world  40 miles or so from Basara????  WOW

I say give the USA PEOPLE the electric and alternative fuel autos now ,give the people those trillions, no more dependency on foreign fuel, release us all from the demon juice, which has caused so much loss of life love religion money, which has consumed and controlled the WHOLE PLANET!!!  USA GOV. combine yourselves with us and the auto makers NOW WITH THOSE TRILLIONS, lets climb out of the depths of hell together, and stop the madness with those middle eastern, sunni, shiites,fanatics, now come home, united we stand one nation, not breaking the divisable, for we will fall. We can all do this together We elected the congress for the people, get it done by-partisian now.

Stop the glutney, we want our country back the way it use to be, Liberty and Justice for all, not for the few.

Anymore wasted time trying to teach Iraq how to form, and run their country also with taxes invoked on the people, and which tribe gets which massive oil producing area ,and where to put our bases to watch the tribes watch the oil produce ,or to pick up the pace. As the Iran Khamenei said: We will lose, and not make our goal. And I say it is us against them, and them has more money and fuel, and could careless about the American way, they prefer Shiite and Sunni which is their way of living and running their gov., ask the Ayatollah Khamenei he will tell you, think about it Al-Maliki is asking as we speak, for Shiite approval.
