Wake up Congress heres what you promised, a little change. Hello, is anybody in there? I’m trying to reach the General Motors executives who seem to be brain dead. If I were Congress I would give them the following ultimatum:
First retire the top three executives from the company, get rid of those tinplated millionaires and the jet they road in on and don’t let them sail to the ground with a golden parachute worth millions. If they haven’t saved anything from the millions they have already been paid, too damn bad. For 2nds I would give the union 48 hours to come before the committee with a scaled down proposal that makes some type of sense to the real people of America. Model it after the pay plan of the Toyota factory or the Nissan plant. No one in America working on an assembly line should be making $76 per hour even if it does include benefits. There should be no restrictions on terminations and no job banks to hide lazy union members with pay. It’s time to come to the real world boys, you’ve done it your way and you lost.

I really don’t care how much of a capitalist you are, no one needs $60 million to get by. The pay these top executives are getting is obscene and not one of them probably has a lick of commonsense. Believe me, if they did they would have come to Washington on Greyhound or Jet Blue. We have literally millions of people just trying to get through this at various suppliers, dealerships and parts houses around the country. Their only hope is some type of bailout or fire sale to keep their jobs. These guys and girls are real people who work hard, just to make a living wage. How about the waitress at the café down the street from a dealership in Joplin, does she deserve to lose her job because of the failure of a few at the top?

I know the Democrats won’t like this idea as some of their main support comes from the UAW, but listen up guys, you promised us change, now lets see it. I am not for government involvement in business but this could be done through a few of the banks we just bailed out and with only government guaranties not government participation. Lets see some real change right now, with a bipartisan effort based on real sound judgement and practical ideas.

This would be a business loan, produced by banks that are in the business of producing loans. This is not a free ride. Should the loan not be satisfied in a reasonable time, assets would be seized and liquidated. We just may end up with a Chevrolet, by Toyota or Nissan.

And that’s my opinion,

Who sets the priorities? Some day maybe our government will get their priorities straight. Who were they elected to protect and serve? Who ever thought we would be giving our hard earned money to people like Lehman Brothers and Goldman Sacs? Who ever thought that Citi Bank would even have 50,000 workers to lay off? Who ever thought Americas car, Chevrolet, would possibly be on the chopping block? What’s next, no more apple pie? Our goal as a Nation should be to be energy independent, free to become all we are capable of, be self sufficient, to be safe and be able to save towards our retirement without the risk of the government taking control of our money.

Right now we are at a crossroads here in America, we have chosen to elect an unknown to our highest office. We have given him carte blanche with the House of Representatives we have elected. Without any further help from the voters who elected him, he can take us much deeper into Socialism with government ownership of many business’s. This can lead to control without competition of our nations banks and financial institutions to the point of deciding which industries succeed and which fail. BUT, He also has the power to turn to the right and by appealing to the silent masses, rebuild our financial infra-structure through creating confidence and using commonsense to find the solutions that have evaded the present administration entirely.

There are as many solutions being thrown around, as there are people to listen to them. I can guaranty you one thing though, if we are to come out of this fiasco without turning to government ownership and big government control of our banks and industry, we will emerge stronger and with the healthiest economy in our history. This new untried administration could carry a legacy from that day on, that could cast a shadow on any in our past. I personally hope for the latter and I will be happy to shout their praises if they do the right thing. If he turns inward to the left, he will destroy the very fabric of our country, and lead us into a revolutionary abyss greater than any war we’ve ever fought. God only knows why anyone would want to have the responsibility that is resting on this mans shoulders. Why anyone would ever want to be President is beyond my understanding. I pray that in spite of my reservations he is the right man for the job.

New Stimulus? If we are going to turn this economy around, we will either have to go more deeply in debt to do it or print more money. Either situation is bleak, as on the one hand the debt becomes insurmountable or on the other it devalues the dollar and creates big time inflation. Now I hear that the Democrats are planning a big new stimulus package for January. This just creates another debt and buries us further in the ground. The last one cost us 180 Billion and what did it accomplish? I wish I could decide what we should spend our nonexistent money on. If we are going to have a stimulus shoved down our throats again, might I suggest that it be in the form of Infra Structure grants? This would at least create jobs, they say that for every dollar spent on the infra structure it creates $1.80. If this is true we should get busy on those roads and bridges immediately. If the Federal government gave each of the States a grant according to population to rebuild roads and bridges the smallest being 1 1/2 Billion they could get the people working tomorrow and only spend about $250 Billion of that bailout fund. There is another form of stimulus they seem to ignore and that is the tax deductible purchase stimuli. First put the people back to work and then give them a tax deductible stimulus of purchases up to $25,000 per household. Stand back, I can hear the rush to shop already. This would cost the tax payers nothing and would kick start the economic engines like a brand new battery.

I know here in Nevada we could use major road construction in both ends of the State. The two main population centers are tied together with a single 450 mile long two lane highway. There’s an old saying out here:”We don’t have fender benders, we have fatalities.” It’s true, when you have the major North South artery clogged with trucks and nowhere to pass comfortably you are going to have crashes. Nevada as is credited with having the highest rate of home foreclosures in the country and one of those grants could go a long way in improving that situation.

Remembering the bridge disaster in Minneapolis St Paul, one could think of a lot of ways to improve our great country. How many other bridges are in dire need of repair? This would all go to improve the Federal Highway System and become an equity rather than an expense in the long run.

I know I just sit here and shake my head at some of the things done in Washington but it’s time to quit shaking and start doing something about it. We the suckers who are paying for it all are the only ones that care enough to do anything about it.

And that’s my opinion,

If it's going to happen anyway, lets do it now. Well it looks like the auto makers are going to get their 25 Billion. It will happen, whether it’s in the lame duck session or when Obama gets in, but it will happen. I would like to propose a compromise;
To put everything on an even keel I believe the unions should make concessions so that the companies are capable of survival. I also think the auto execs should follow the example of Goldman Sacs execs and guaranty absolutely no bonuses until the company becomes profitable and pays back this debt. I know it’s hard to get unions and their workers to give up gains but these are ill gotten gains and have put the companies in jeopardy from the gitgo. If you take the example of Toyota and Nissan here in the states you can find a happy medium, if the union doesn’t want to go along, then offer no money to bail them out. Maybe they have become so powerful they no longer see the plight of the workers they represent. I know the big three companies have some great Hybrids on the production floor now, and more in the works, but changes in design philosophy need to be made to steer them once again into the black. I’m not saying no to more SUVs’ and pickups, that should never happen, but build them with the mileage capabilities that exceed the rules. Nothing being built for common use should get less than 25 to 30MPG. You can understand their reluctance to building cars to compete in the mileage category as they tried that before and lost big timein the 80’s, but with the technology that is available to the companies today, these would be easy milestones to achieve and competitive hybrids are certainly within their capabilities.

The government should make this decision quickly as it either is going to be a yes or no and millions of jobs hang in the balance. If they are going to do it regardless after January, let’s get it done now with these modifications installed, there will be no real modifications if we wait.

And that’s my opinion,
Don

Hey! where are our leaders? Have you ever stopped to think about who our leaders are? If you really think about it we have none. Sure Pelosi and Reid make noise like leaders but have you noticed how the always hedge their bets? Bush has given up on leadership and is just sailing along for the next few weeks in limbo. Now we have Obama who charges like a leader but of what? We know so little about what he thinks and what his plans are. IF he turns to the middle as he did in the election he’ll lose his base, if he turns farther to the left he loses Americans in general. We have a few qualified to lead that have been pushed out of mainstream politics like Gingrich or Lieberman and we have Hillary but she sold her soul to Obama and left her constituents to fend for themselves. The ex President Clinton soiled himself and his legacy on Monica’s blue dress. Now we have none.

If I were President elect Obama I would come out as soon as possible with my first 100 day agenda to let the American people know where he is headed. If my guess is right he will stay to the middle in most things but throw in a few leftist cupcakes to keep his people in line. Either way at least we know we have a leader or maybe even a fight on our hands to save our Republic. His choice of a Cabinet will give us a few clues but it really should come from him directly.

The Congress led by Pelosi and Reid are screaming for a auto maker bailout to appease their comrades in the UAW but that will do nothing for the general population until the Big Three reorganize and get rid of the obscene UAW contracts that are now breaking these companies. Why throw good money after bad. I am not a anti union person but if you look into these half a$$ed agreements you’ll understand where I’m coming from. No company could exist under these terms and make a profit. People all over this great country would love to work for the Big Three but their ties to Detroit and the UAW have kept them from really diversifying their labor base. Toyota for example has built their labor base without the help of the UAW and their pay structure is in line with the rest of the country. They can produce cars and trucks here in America and show a decent profit in the end. I think the Saturn experiment is the answer, make the employee’s a partner in the companies and their pride in ownership will show in the end.

Item two on his agenda should be to let our military families know what their future is. Will he as stated immediately pull out of Iraq or has he tempered his decision with commonsense and will he listen to his Generals who are actually there. These kids need to know, they stick their necks out daily and what a shame if even one gets injured or slain only to leave everything undone in the next few weeks.
The thing everyone is waiting to hear is how does he plan to bring us out of this recession? Will he try to tax us out and destroy the economy further or will he build a partnership of both political parties to develop a workable plan to compromise and build a real solution that will last. I am anxious to see who his pick for what they called the Car Czar is, hopefully someone with real business experience and not a politician.

These are just a few concerns that I and many others have about the direction our country is headed. I hope we get the answers very shortly and these answers stir the market into a recovery mode rather than the unsettling show it has been putting on lately.

And that’s my opinion,

Pardon Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean One last time Mr. Bush, here’s your chance to redeem your self in the eyes of many. You have two Border Agents Compean and Ramos locked up in Federal Prison for doing what 90% of Americans wanted them to do. It’s in your power to commute their sentences and bring them back to their families. These men are hero’s to most Americans and are considered political prisoners by the Bush Administration. They should be released immediately and they should receive 100% of their back pay. Your Federal Prosecutor Johnny Sutton painted a picture of a poor itinerant Mexican just trying to make a living he met these two Border Agents who were on patrol in an area assigned to them to prevent smugglers and illegal aliens from entering the country. These two bullies shot this poor Mexican in cold blood in the rump as he tried to get away with his 700 pounds of dope. Come on Mr. Bush enough is enough. This Mexican who was shot was given immunity by Sutton to testify against these men and soon after was re arrested for smuggling even more dope into the country. If they had just aimed a little higher we would have less junk on our streets. These men have had to be placed in solitary confinement for their own protection as they are surrounded by Mexican drug smugglers in these prisons. It would be like you being placed in a prison with Al Qaeda prisoners who are sworn to kill you. What are you thinking Mr. President? What kind of deal with Mexico could you possibly have to keep these brave men incarcerated?

You have asked and received support from many of us for the war in Iraq. Actually we are embroiled in three wars Mr. President, Iraq, Afghanistan and the war on drugs which we are losing badly. We have documented cases of actual military incursions across our border where the Mexican Soldiers have guarded the escape of drug smugglers even firing their weapons in the process. All this and you let Sutton keep these two locked
up in a living heii. I voted for you twice and I must say I am totally disappointed in your last term. Most of us were so proud of the way you took charge after 9/11 but you have failed badly in all areas of the domestic front. You have personally set back the Conservative Movement at least ten years. Please Mr. President I beseech you, release these men immediately and remove all stigma from their record. They and their families have suffered greatly at hands of your administration.

Ask the people of this Nation who they would call a hero, Scooter Libby whom you pardoned immediately or Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean who are still locked up in prison. I guess if you’re not a Washington insider it just doesn’t count.

America it’s our fight now, we have do everything in our power to get these men released. They were doing their job trying to protect us when they were caught up in some insider event that I believe had nothing to do with what actually happened. The politics involved in this goes much deeper than just the wounding of a known drug smuggler. Cops shoot it out and wound drug dealers all the time and nothing ever is said about it, why then is this injustice still going on?

Reverse racism I received this letter from a friend the other day and it seems appropriate for the times. Hatred and racism is wrong no matter which side of the fence you are on. As Americans we must learn to accept what is inevidable and that is that all men and women should be considered on the merits of their abilities and for no other reason. This is the biggest reason that I have always been against quota's for anyone. I have no idea who the author is other than the name on the article is as shown. If we are ever to shed the thought of racism in America we must accept the basic principles of Mr. Adkins whomever he may be. I do not publish this for any reason other than the irony of reverse racism practiced by the very people who have fought for equality for decades. I leave it to your judgement and examination of principles in your own mind.

By Tom Adkins
Look at my fellow conservatives! There they go, glumly shuffling along, depressed by the election aftermath. Not me. I’m virtually euphoric. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not thrilled with America’s flirtation with neo-socialism. But there’s a massive silver lining in those magical clouds that lofted Barak Obama to the Presidency. For today, without a shred of intellectually legitimate opposition, I can loudly proclaim to America: The Era of White Guilt is over. This seemingly impossible event occurred because the vast majority of white Americans didn’t give a fluff about skin color and enthusiastically pulled the voting lever for a black man. Not just any black man. A very liberal black man who spent his early career race-hustling banks, praying in a racist church for 20 years, and actively worked with America-hating domestic terrorists. Wow! Some resume! Yet they made Barak Obama their leader. Therefore, as of Nov 4th, 2008, white guilt is dead.

For over a century, the millstone of white guilt hung around our necks: retribution for slave-owning predecessors. In the 60s, American liberals began yanking that millstone while sticking a fork in the eye of black Americans, exacerbating the racial divide to extort a socialist solution. But if a black man can become President, exactly what significant barrier is left? The election of Barak Obama absolutely destroys the entire validation of liberal white guilt. The dragon is hereby slain. So today, I’m feeling a little “uppity,” if you will. From this day forward, my tolerance level for having my skin color hustled is now exactly ZERO. And it’s time to clean house. No more Reverend Wright’s “God Damn America ,” Al Sharpton’s Church of Perpetual Victimization , or Jesse Jackson’s rainbow racism. Cornell West? You’re a fraud. Go home. All those “black studies” programs that taught kids to hate whitey? You must now thank Whitey. And I want that on the final. Congressional Black Caucus? Irrelevant. Maxine Waters? Shut up. ACORN? Outlawed. Black Panthers? Go home and pet your kitty. Black separatists? Find another nation that offers better dreams. Go ahead. I’m waiting.

Gangsta rappers? Start praising America . Begin with the Pledge of Allegiance. And please…no more ebonics. Speak English, and who knows where you might end up? Oh, yeah…pull up your pants. Your underwear is showing. You look stupid. To those Eurosnots who forged entire careers hating America ? I’m still waiting for the first black French President. And let me offer an equal-opportunity whupping. I’ve always despised lazy white people. Now, I can talk smack about lazy black people. You’re poor because you quit school, did drugs, had three kids with three different fathers, and refuse to work. So when you plop your Colt 45-swilling, Oprah watchin’ butt on the couch and complain “Da Man is keepin’ me down,” allow me to inform you: Da Man is now black. You have no excuses. No more quotas. No more handouts. No more stealing my money because someone’s great-great-great-great grandparents suffered actual pain and misery at the hands of people I have no relation to, and personally revile.

It’s time to toss that massive, obsolete race-hustle machine upon the heap of the other stupid 60s ideas. Drag it over there by wife swapping, next to dope-smoking. Plenty of room right between free love and cop-killing. Careful…don’t trip on streaking. There ya go, don’t be gentle. Just dump it. Wash your hands. It’s filthy. In fact, Obama’s ascension created a gargantuan irony. How can you sell class envy and American unfairness when you and your black wife went to Ivy League schools, got high-paying jobs, became millionaires, bought a mansion, and got elected President? How unfair is that??? Now, Like a delicious O'Henry tale, Obama’s spread-the-wealth campaign rendered itself moot by it's own victory! America is officially a meritocracy. Obama’s election has validated American conservatism!

So, listen carefully: "Wham!!! " That’s the sound of my foot kicking the door shut on the era of white guilt. The rites have been muttered, the carcass lowered, dirt shoveled, and tombstone erected. White guilt is dead and buried.

However, despite my glee, there’s apparently one small, rabid bastion of American racism remaining. Black Americans voted 96% for Barak Obama. Hmmm. In a color-blind world, shouldn’t that be 50-50? Tonight, every black person should ask forgiveness for their apparent racism and prejudice towards white people. Maybe it’s time to start spreading the guilt around.

This opinion as expressed by Mr T Adkins does not necessarily reflect my own but the basic concept is interesting at the least.

Flip flop Don Sometimes I get an idea and before you know it I have put it out there for all to see. In my blog yesterday “Wake up Mr. President” I suggested that it would be smart to bail out the Big Three in America. Some of you immediately picked up on my error in judgement and I thank you for bringing me to my senses. You might have to call me a Flip Flopper after this but I really gave it a great deal of thought and research yesterday and I feel I was in error. First of all there are not thousands of jobs in the balance but when you add in the dealer network across America there are millions of jobs in the balance. My error was as follows; First of all the companies wouldn’t just go away, they would be placed in a reconstructive Bankruptcy where the management would have to renegotiate their big salaries down to a level of accountability. Secondly maybe in bankruptcy they could throw out the obscene union demands that add up to as much as $8,000 a vehicle over the nonunion Toyota shops in the South. $1,500 just for medical expenses is added to each vehicle. I can’t think of anywhere but in our illustrious Congress where such benefits are available. To flex their muscle the union struck a GM affiliate during the beginning of this crisis and caused the loss of thousands production units due to the unavailability of axles for many 2008 models.

This would allow them to realign their production to products that better fit the needs of the consumer. This would also bring the base price of products down substantially. Working with their suppliers and their dealers a new company would emerge much stronger and it even could involve an ownership offer to their existing dealers across the land which would bring in much needed consumer input and confidence into the company.

I still think the so called bailout is a total boondoggle benefiting only the big banks. The proof is in the pudding when it comes to AIG who laughingly took a vacation with our funds and then did it all over again as if to thumb their noses at us. Or the bonus’s that Lehman Brothers paid to their employees after the bailout. The real solution is in the business sector not as a bail out for every company but using the SBA and a rapid loan program developed to save small to medium business across the land. These people had nothing to do with the cause of the problem but have been hurt the worse. This could save thousands or even millions of jobs through out the country if moved on quickly enough. Many of these companies have been forced into layoffs and near bankruptcy because of the lack of funds available to them. This Countries economy is run on the backs of these small to medium companies. As I stated in my first article giving money to these big holding banks is causing more harm than good. They have been swallowing up community banks for the last decade and that has caused problems for all small to medium business’s. No longer is there any relationship between the business person and their individual banks. The days of a local banker who is able to make a decision on a loan based on his or her personal knowledge of the company or individual is non existent in today’s world. The big banks have been hoarding this money in order to takeover many of the remaining smaller banks as they get into trouble because of the economic situation.

I really do apologize to the readers for my error in judgement and have sent this corrected article to the same folks that I sent the others to. I hope this has not caused you any problems and I will try to be more thorough in the future.

And that’s my opinion,
Don

Wake up Mr. President Wake up Mr. Bush in case you didn’t notice your party is almost over. As a Conservative I can say I am very disappointed in what started out to be a strong and successful Presidency. You have very little time left to recover your legacy and accomplish the great things that you had the potential to do. We have this boondoggle bailout that so far hasn’t done squat for the American people. We have the potential of 40 or 50,000 auto workers who will soon be out of work and yet your administration chose to once again to add to the ever growing socialistic package of buying the favor of the banks and insurance companies. If the Big Three Auto makers here in the United States go broke it will take more than insurance and holding banks to bail us out of the depression we will be in. This is the time for you to get moving and broker a deal between the UAW and the Big Three. The Unions have a stake in this too. They have pillaged the auto manufactures to the point of breaking and need to sit down an renegotiate a livable program in order to keep their constituents employed. A union brings nothing to the table if it has no work.

The program that I suggest for the big three is as follows:

We establish a Federal Holding Bank that will loan the required funds to each individual company on a as needed basis. This bank would be set up to do only this function and have a life span of no more than 10 years. These loans should be fully collateralized with a firm repayment plan in place. The interest earned by this bank should be used to offset the cost of operation.

It should be up to the companies themselves to present a workable business plan showing how the recovery money loaned to them from our tax money would work and how they would pay it back in a reasonable time period, not more than 10 years. A committee of financial experts should evaluate the collateral and business plan and be responsible to oversee the disbursement of these funds. I am not suggesting the government get involved in the operation of these companies but they should as in any business plan be required to have quarterly reports reviewed by the loan officers who will evaluate their viability.

Mr. President, it’s in your power to turn this economy around. You have never had a better chance to get the Congress to function in our behalf. The mood of the American people is such that any refusal to work together will be looked upon as partisanship and will not be taken lightly. Make your move now to rebuild the structure of our economy and regain the legacy of your presidency. I know the bail out of the auto makers is just a small part of what’s needed but it should be a priority if jobs for Americans matter.

The recovery of the banking industry is not being helped by the greed of some holding banks that are hoarding money in an effort to take over smaller banks. Smaller community oriented banks built this country and are becoming extinct because of the greed that some of these big banks have shown. We need as a business community to be able to go to our local banker and develop a relationship as we have in the past. In today’s banking world these relationships no longer exist. In my small town alone over the last 10 years we have had bank takeovers at least 4 times. Eventually our town will end up without a bank as it will become just an additional cost that is not needed by anyone except the community.
I know I am just one voice in the crowd but if many voices come together we can make it heard. Print this if you feel the same and send it from cities all over the country to the White House, maybe then our shout will be loud enough for them to hear us.

And that’s my opinion,

We the people are the answer The election is over the new government is starting to form it’s time to bury the hatchet and start moving this country forward. I know a lot of people are afraid, disappointed and just plain angry but this is still America and when I last looked we were in real trouble financially. The Auto makers are going broke as are Dealerships around the country. It’s usually not the big dealerships that are failing it’s the small town easy dealing ones that are paying the price. You may not think you have to worry about these people but in a lot of little towns they are the heartbeat of the business for the town. They are the ones that sponsor the little league and the Pop Warner football programs and in many cases they are the sole support for so many events. They usually employ 15 to 25 people, that’s 15 to 25 families that live and shop in these small towns. There is no bail out planned for these people, they are at the mercy of the market place. Farm equipment dealers are another facet of small town America that is suffering. Cattle ranchers have been hit extremely hard this year, prices are in the gutter and feed is sky high. It amazes me but there is no reflection of this on the price of beef in the stores. Lumber yards that have been in business for decades are closing up shop for good as the housing market crumbles beneath our feet. How many carpenters, plumbers or equipment operators are sitting home waiting for the bailout to reach their business’s?

The time is now and we need everyone Conservative, Liberal, Libertarian or Independent to work together to solve these problems. This is not an easy task, we have a do nothing Congress and a Lame Duck Administration, it’s up to us, We The People to get our concerns heard and heard quickly. The only way Congress acts is if someone builds a fire under their posteriors. There are mid term elections coming in two years, if we wait for them to start worrying about reelection to do anything we will all be broke by then. The first thing we need is to get the so called bailout to work for the people instead of the bankers. The government should put a portion of this bailout into the SBA (Small Business Administration) to help bailout the small to medium business’s that most people are employed by. They should work a finance program like they did for Chrysler for the Auto Industry to put the thousands of laid off autoworkers back to work. This should be in the form of Capital loan with full expectation of prompt paybacks. The Unions should work hand in hand with the companies to reinstate their workers without the adversarial role they normally take.

Conservatives I speak to you now, it’s not Socialism if it is done as a loan and conditions are set for repayment. The government in no way should buy stock in these companies but should chattel their holdings as security. Liberals, we are not looking for government controls over industry all that will do is stifle growth. We should not be against the government laying down rules as to how our tax money loaned should be used. Example; Large employee bonus programs or Golden Parachutes should be eliminated where our tax money is concerned.

The American economy is run by Consumer confidence not as we found out by given away money that wasn’t earned. If you want the government to stimulate the economy they can do it by offering tax incentives to people like you and me to go shopping. For example; Offer me tax deductible purchases up to $20 or 30,000 dollars for the next 120 days and watch me go shopping for a new car or new furniture. Send me $1,200 and it will just add to our national debt as it did last time.

We can do this if we bury the hatchet and work together. I’m not saying we should all get in bed with the new administration. They have a lot of proving to do to convince me and many others that they are capable of resurrecting our countries stature in the world as well as our financial stability. If they turn to the far left and socialistic programs it will leave a country full of discontents. If they work together reaching out to the conservatives that will be a good start and building blocks for the future. If they ignore and disenfranchise this group we will be as we are in a stalemate with nothing getting done. I for one will do everything I can to help our country to it’s feet but I will take a wait and see attitude towards this new administration.

And that’s my opinion,
Don

We need accountability for the bailout We have gotten tons of emails regarding the accountability of the bailout. Over 350 so far, we want to take thousands to all of our representatives in order to get a real accountability on this boondoggle. In every case the experts agree that the money has not gone to help the people. I have heard estimates that as much as 10% is being used as bonus’s for the wonderful rich boys who helped create this trauma. I know many of you don’t like to give out your email so if it’s easier for you, just click on comments and say count me in and we will include your comment. It is not necessary to give your name or city unless you want to. We need that money to go where it will do the most good not into the hands of unscrupulous money grubbers. The government so far has chosen to bailout only banks yet have let the Auto Industry go down in flames, who hires more people than the automobile manufactures? I know the American Auto makers have asked for this problem for a long time but by putting out sub standard products but in the last few years have made many improvements in their products and they will now compete with any on the market. To me this is our money, the tax payers of America and we should have a voice in how it is spent. The Auto Industry at least would pay it back as Chrysler did in years ago.

It’s time for all of us to get involved or quit whining about the how it’s being done. I for one would like to see more of it go to the (SBA) Small Business Administration to bail out the companies that most people work for rather than the big banks who are just swallowing up other banks with the money. We can make a difference in mass. Just click under comments and say count me in. You will never here from anyone other than in this blog but you will be counted when we send our information to the Congress.

Demand accountability for the bailout. Today’s blog is about people. We all understand that people need nourishment and the way they get nourishment is by working for a living. What happens when the company has to shut down because of the economic conditions? Can we feed America on promises? This so called Bailout pushed so quickly through the Congress has criminality written all over it. Have any of you even heard of any money coming into your bank? The idea of the bailout was to rekindle the economy and get banks lending once again. If these clowns really want to kick start the economy they should put the money into the SBA and order it to bailout Mom and Pop companies all over the country immediately. The working people of this country are more apt to get help by keeping their jobs and not having their companies fail out from under them. The small factory that can’t get the loan on its receivables or the Contractor who needs to keep his crew together in hard times. These are the people who need the help. The banks created this mess with the help of the politicians and all the politicians have done so far is cover their own butts.

We are the people of the United States, some of us are liberal and some of us are conservatives but one thing we have in common is the need to keep working. This shell game the Congress and the Secretary of the treasury are playing is going to leave us in ruin. It’s time to demand help for the small guy or the return of our tax money to the treasury. These billions of dollars would go a long way in the private sector strengthening small companies so they might survive. More of us work in this sector than in the banking and insurance world. It would be a much better return on our tax money to invest in these companies than to have our money thrown away on over sized bonus’s for the idiots who started this mess.

I suggest we form an organization for bailout accountability and sock it to our representatives with emails and letters and phone calls. We have power on our side if we all work on this together. I don’t want any money from you I just want you to sign up for our cause. If you want to get involved just email us with your email address at;
If enough are interested we can make a difference. If we don’t act soon to stop this giant boondoggle it will be too late.

If you want to get it rolling fast send this to all your friends and have them get involved too. We can do it if we pull together. Lets save America from another great disaster.

And that’s my opinion,

Sad but happy it's over As I write this I can’t help worry about what is in store for America. It must be nice to be so taken with an individual that you feel the elation that is sweeping through the liberal community. I am not so worried about taxes or even the redistribution of wealth we have been promised. My worries are for the strength of our country. What will Obama and the House attempt to do to our military and how will it leave our ability to protect our shores.. Will he honor our commitments in the world that have made us the strongest Nation in history. I can care less about his race, it’s his backbone that concerns me as an American. His ability to attract the young and the disenfranchised to his cause not unlike the Pidepiper of old is worrisome as he has answered so few questions and has left so many unanswered charges. To be a real President of the people of the United States it will take more than the backing of the liberals to get by, will he have the ability to reach across the bridge of discontent that is building? Will he be a leader of all the people or just those who seem to be in a trance following along behind his bandwagon?

I have so many questions and not one of the multitude of his believers have ever given me an answer that is anything more than rhetoric and talking points. All they do is repeat what he has said as he has no background to attempt to understand. He was a neighborhood organizer and a far left State Senator getting his backing from the Daley machine in Chicago. He has been groomed for this coup d’état for the last 4 years. We as a people were manipulated by the press and the congress into creating this terrible financial disaster which propelled him to the forefront. He called for change and not one of the major press ever asked what change meant. As the problems grew in the financial system by the day we as a people stood by as the press and the Democratic Congress blamed Bush for everything that happened. In the mind of many the real culprits of the disaster are now the leaders of the free world, I just shake my head in wonder, how long can we remain free.

The President elect has stated he will support the 2nd amendment in regards to gun ownership but his votes in the Senate have shown a different side of him. He has stated he will cut taxes for the Middle Class but what is the Middle Class and will he destroy those that the Middle Class depend on for their jobs? He has said that he will consult with the Generals before doing anything about Iraq and Afghanistan yet I wonder how long it will take the Soros and The Think Pink constituents to change his mind? There is a great party going on in Chicago tonight but how long will the party last? At some point he has to come to terms with the 50% of the American people who oppose his liberalism, will he be able to weather that storm? I fear that the battle for the soul of America has just begun. Hopefully it won’t come to a head in the streets. To the celebrants I say enjoy. The pendulum has swung in your direction but remember in your elation that a pendulum swings both ways and will eventually come back to the other side. The people who now feel deserted are Americans too and they just have a different view on how America should be.

The people of America have spoken and as an American I will respect their wishes. I can’t say I will support this administration in an active way but I will watch carefully and decide on my feelings as I learn to understand Obama’s motives and ambitions.

And that’s my opinion,

How will the Messiah handle this? Are we totally forgetting the Russian Foxbats that we have found buried in Iraq? Are we going to let the many things still undiscovered fall into the hands of the insurgents? Will Obama have the understanding and the fortitude to rethink his position on bringing the troops home before they are finished. The U. N. Inspectors are a joke and if that is what he plans to replace our troops with we are on the road to ruin. These were found several years ago and are still being found. This was never shown in the major media as it would have upset the liberals reasons for ending the war. I would call these finds WMD’s as they are as potent as anything we have flying and in the wrong hands are very capable of destroying much of Israel and beyond. I truly believe that we should put an all out effort into the discovery of buried treasures in Iraq before removing a single soldier. If they can bury many planes of this size and magnitude who says they don’t have many other things buried in their backyard? I for one don’t want to take the chance. You who shout for an end to the war without solution will hold the responsibility for our demise.

Go to the polls and vote for your Messiah but remember this, when the trouble starts and we are once again held hostage as we were under Carters administration it’ll be your vote that put us in that spot. Obama and the bumbling Biden will not have a clue how to react when it happens and it will happen even Biden say it will. There is no one in his entourage who has the knowledge or ability to advise him.

You called Bush a liar for his efforts to make our country safer, when we have a real attack on our shores from these buried terrorist treasures will you apologize for your lack of intelligence? It will probably be too late but just knowing you found out how wrong you were might help the rest of us as we scramble to fight for our country.

See attached:

The Iraqi jet, an advanced Russian MiG-25 Foxbat, was found buried in the sand after an informant tipped off U.S. troops.
The MiG was dug out of a massive sand dune near the Al Taqqadum airfield by U.S. Air Force recovery teams. The MiG was reportedly one of over two dozen Iraqi jets buried in the sand, like hidden treasure, waiting to be recovered at a later date.
Contrary to what some in the major media have reported, not all the jets found were from the Gulf War era.
The Russian-made MiG-25 Foxbat being recovered by U.S. Air Force troops in the photos is an advanced reconnaissance version never before seen in the West and is equipped with sophisticated electronic warfare devices.
U.S. Air Force recovery teams had to use large earth-moving equipment to uncover the MiG, which is over 70 feet long and weighs nearly 25 tons.
The Foxbat is known to be one of Iraq 's top jet fighters. The advanced electronic reconnaissance version found by the U.S. Air Force is currently in service with the Russian air force. The MiG is capable of flying at speeds of over 2,000 miles an hour, or three times the speed of sound, and at altitudes of over 75,000 feet.
The recovery of the advanced MiG fighter is considered to be an intelligence coup by the U.S. Air Force.. The Foxbat may also be equipped with advanced Russian- and French-made electronics that were sold to Iraq during the 1990s in violation of a U..N. ban on arms sales to Baghdad .
The buried aircraft at Al Taqqadum were covered in camouflage netting, sealed and, in many cases, had their wings removed before being buried more than 10 feet beneath the Iraqi desert.

The discovery of the buried Iraqi jet fighters illustrates the problem faced by U.S. inspection teams searching Iraq for weapons of mass destruction. Iraq is larger in size than California, and the massive deserts south and west of Baghdad were used by Saddam Hussein to hide weapons during the first Gulf war.
While there are rumors of Iraqi chemical and biological weapons being shipped to nearby Syria , the weapons may very well still remain inside Iraq buried under the vast desert wastelands.
Now we have a decision to make on Tuesday, I have made mine and I am comfortable with it. I hope you are too.

And that's my opionion,
Don

What I’m about to tell you will make your hair stand on end. We could possible have more oil reserves than all of the Middle East and the Gulf of Mexico. Over the years prior to 1996 the major oil companies drilled a lot of holes around the North Dakota are didn’t find what they were looking for and went on to drill the Gulf of Mexico where oil deposits were proven to be. A Geologist working for the U.S.G.S. named L.C.Price performed extensive chemical analysis of abandoned oil wells in the North Dakota area and arrived at the conclusion that “The Bakken Trend” has 200 to 500 Billion barrels of oil untapped under ground. This is not Shale Oil but true oil reservoirs. Price turned in his report to the U.S.G.S. in 1999 and they started their own review of his work. Mr.Price died in 2002 and the U.S.G.S. is still holding on to his report and refuses to release their findings.

Now I find this mighty strange with the circumstances we find ourselves in as far as oil is concerned. This could possibly make us independent from those middle east leaches we have been forced to deal with for so long. Don’t try to read any particular politics into this as it has been known about by several administrations or their representatives. As the friend of mine who brought this to my attention put it “ Strange?? You bet! But then nothing is strange when it is overseen by our good old government and huge sums of $$ are at stake.” “ Could there be forces at play or Cabals here or overseas that for unknown reasons don’t want to shut the money off and quit feeding the Middle East with Billions of our dollars every month?”

Item:

1. The U.S. Geological Service issued a report in April 20'08 what only
scientists and oilmen knew was coming, but man was it big! It was a
revised report (hadn't been updated since '95) on how much oil was in
this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota; western South Dakota; and
extreme eastern Montana ... check THIS out:

The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska's
Prudhoe Bay , and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence
on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it
at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at
$107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3
trillion.

'”When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see
their jaws hit the floor. They had no idea.” says Terry Johnson, the
Montana Legislature's financial analyst.

'This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found
in the past 56 years,' reports The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. It's a
formation known as the Williston Basin , but is more commonly referred
to as the 'Bakken.' And it stretches from Northern Montana, through
North Dakota and into Canada . For years, U.S.oil exploration has been
considered a dead end. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching
for major oil wells decades ago. However, a recent technological
breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's massive reserves... and we now
have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is light,
sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER
BARREL!

That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 41 years
straight.

2. And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this next one
should - because it's from TWO YEARS AGO, people!:
U.S.Oil Discovery- Largest Reserve in the World!
Stansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006 -- Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the
surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in
the world is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005, President
Bush mandated its extraction.

They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders,
than all the other proven reserves on earth. Here are the official
estimates:
-8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
-18-times as much oil as Iraq
-21-times as much oil as Kuwait
-22-times as much oil as Iran
-500-times as much oil as Yemen- and it's all right here in the Western
United States .

HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this!? Because the
democrats, environmentalists and left wing republicans have blocked all
efforts to help America become independent of foreign oil.

James Bartis, lead researcher with the study, says “we've got more oil in
this very compact area than the entire Middle East -more than 2 TRILLION
barrels. Untapped. That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude
oil in the world today,” reports The Denver Post.

Checking with Snopes.com, they feel some of the numbers may be exaggerated but do not say this is untrue. I for one will ask our delightful Senator Reid if he knew anything about this find. Maybe you should all do the same. If this proves to be true I think it’s time to get rid of the entire bunch of them. We saw how much money they took from Fannie and Freddie, how much do you think they have sequestered away from the oil barons of the world just to keep this quiet? It doesn’t take a genius to understand these type of economics, it’s simply one for you and ten for us cause we are elitists and deserve more.

And that’s my opinion,
Don
