OMG - So, Brian Nichols' attorneys claim he was delusional on the day he murdered (in cold blood) his victims at the courthouse.  His ATTORNEYS are delusional.  But this isn't really a surprise.  Evidently, his over-paid legal team will stop at nothing to try and save this man's life.  The prospect of this man spending a length of time in an mental hospital, only to someday walk free is an insult to our legal system.  What a farce.  Where's the justice?

Its the job of the defense attorneys to provide the best defense for their client as they can. Maybe one of the attorneys was watching "a time to kill" and thought it was a good idea. I dont know. I am surprised the "nutball" defense wasnt used until now. What is un-excuseable is how much Georgia taxpayers have already paid these geniuses before they came up with the nutball defense. I hope that this man is sentenced, but am afraid that they might get the right nutball doc for the nutball defense for the nutball verdict to spend a few years in the nut house and then get out...all paid for by the Georgia taxpayer. Talk about a ride. Jeez.

we all know he's crazy. how else would you explain what he did? But that dosnt seem like enough to get away with murder. i say execute the bastard now. we all know he's guilty. we dont need a court or jury to tell that.

My concern about this is, does everyone have the resources that Nichols has ,and if so ,how long will it take to bankrupt the Georgia legal system.

I'm the mother of two wonderful children, now out on their own. I find, as I get older, that I'm more conscious of social, political, economic, and environmental issues. I've also become more vocal, which isn't always a good thing! I love the outdoors, golfing, fishing, reading, cooking, tennis, photography, and NASCAR.
