Brian Nichols robbing the system

Well, now Brian Nichols' attorneys have filed yet another motion to ask the judge to delay the trial, force the State to give them more funds, or to block the prosecutors from seeking the death penalty.  Ah, there it is - the crux of  what Nichols' defense team has been volleying for all this time.  Can they actually believe that this piece of garbage doesn't deserve to die for what he did?  He has no regard for the legal system unless, of course, that system can keep his sorry butt alive.  And why does he need FOUR attorneys?  Who is he that makes him deserving of such a lavish defense team?  The $1.8 million dollars already spent on his defense is obscene and, as far as I'm concerned he deserves no more than one attorney representing him for no other reason than to make sure he behaves himself in court.  When he took the lives of his four victims on March 11, 2005, he forfeited any rights he had to the possibility of living out his miserable life in prison.  He deserves the death penalty - and not twenty years from now.  SOON.

You are so right.I can't for the life of me;can see what the lawyers have done for that kind of money.What,write and file a few papers:For over one million dollars!!!They have turned this into a three ring circus,with the tax payers paying for it.I feel sorry for the families of the ones he cold bloodily killed.Maybe justice will prevail after all.

Now, did I say ANYTHING about Nichols' blackness? NO, I didn't. Once again, those who can't come up with a valid argument throw in the race card. I wouldn't care what color Brian Nichols is - he's nothing more than a self-righteous punk - and black, white, or purple, he deserves a speedy trip to the execution table.

I totally agree with you. The crimes that Nichols is accused of are terrible. I also agree that tax dollars should never be wasted. Charles Manson is a big waste of money if there ever was one.

Hey what do you think about saying something about Susan Smith? She killed two people herself, her very own children (and tried to accuse a black man of car jacking her). I think she’s still alive being cared for by tax dollars as well. I’ve included a link to an article about Susan for more information. Be careful as you read it because it’s written with compassion for the criminal. Let me know if you find anything written the same way about Vick. After all they’re both guilty right?

Here that link is. I'll let you know if I find an article written with compassion for Nichols or Vick. There are plenty out there showing understanding for Andrea Yates, Chris Benoit, and Susan:)

I'm the mother of two wonderful children, now out on their own. I find, as I get older, that I'm more conscious of social, political, economic, and environmental issues.
