If one can ignore the incessant propaganda that bombards us from what passes as “news” on TV, movies, and even music, one might ponder why Americans no longer have Rights over themselves, their children, and their property.
In the pre-socialist days prior to 1935, the Common Law based upon justice, reason, and common sense was the Law of the land. Since the Common Law is a prerogative of sovereigns, the servant government had no lawful authority to enact nor prosecute Common Law offenses. Many judges agreed that the Common Law was too harsh for a democracy. And they were right because Americans were promised a Republic form of government wherein the People (not citizens) were the sovereigns. Since property and sovereignty are inseparable, only those who absolutely owned property could rely upon the promises in the organic documents that instituted America’s governments at the Federal, State, and Local levels. In the original instrument, the Declaration of Independence, it was clearly stated that governments were instituted among men to do two things: help secure property rights, and govern by consent.
What are property rights? The absolute right to own ourselves, our labor, the fruits of our labor, and that for which we choose to trade our labor. Private property is defined as land, houses, and chattels (property other than real estate). Real estate is not private property. If two or more persons have a claim it ceases to be private property and devolves to estate. Estate is held with qualified ownership. It’s no surprise to me that State constitutions only list “real and personal property” as subject to taxation and regulation. Private property is sacred, and exempt.
Before the politicians (poly from the Greek, meaning many; and tic, an ugly bloodsucking parasite) sold out America, a sovereign who owned private property was the supreme authority and absolute monarch over his domain. An example of the absolute power to decide and act (sovereignty) was the landlord’s right to defend his property from trespass with deadly force. If capital punishment without benefit of trial isn’t evidence of individual sovereignty, I don’t know what else will suffice.
To retain the status of private property, only ONE individual can own said property, therefore, coverture was essential. Coverture was the transfer of the wife’s property to her husband for the duration of the marriage. This made the man the sole authority over the property insuring that servant government had to respect the family’s property rights in all things. There were very few problems as long as men loved their wives and treated them as equal partners.
Historical revisionists would lead one to believe that men “owned” their wives and children, not unlike slaves, and that it was a bad thing (as if collective ownership by “Big Brother” is superior).
If one will recall, though men had the rights of ownership, they also had the sole duty of support and defense of their family. As the saying goes, “women and children first” into the lifeboat. Men were obligated to lay down their lives, if necessary, in defense of their family. Was it a burden that women and children had to obey the man of the family in exchange for his lifelong obligation to them? I don’t think so. Even the Law recognized that only the man could be held legally liable for failure to support his family. A wife who was forced by circumstances to “work outside the home” was tantamount to giving notice that the man was either unable, or worse, in violation of the Law, unwilling to support his family. At the very least, it was an insult to the manhood of the husband.
All this changed with the institution of national socialism in 1935. Known as the Social Security Act, or Federal Insurance Contribution Act (F.I.C.A.), this treacherous enactment was the final nail in the Grand Old Republic’s coffin. The ground work had been laid in 1913, giving control of America’s money to a privately held loan shark operation known as the Federal Reserve; and in 1916, the creation of the Fed’s collection agency, the Internal Revenue Service. It took the Fed less than 25 years to totally bankrupt America. The wealthiest nation in the history of the world was brought to her knees by the “Great Depression”, and had desperate Americans demanding that the government “do something”, which lead to the destruction of individual property rights. For the truth about the Federal Reserve (which is no more “Federal” than Federal Express), read FOURTH REICH OF THE RICH by Des Griffin and SECRETS OF THE TEMPLE: HOW THE FEDERAL RESERVE RUNS THE COUNTRY by William Greider.
Unknown to the gullible participants, enrollment into “Social Security” (I call it socialist insecurity), had dire effects. First, it changed their status as Free men to paupers eligible for charity from the public treasury. Second, it eliminated their private property Rights to own, and thus have a domicile, in exchange for a residence. Third, it obligated them to pay the claims made upon the bankrupted United States of America (upper and lower case spelling), replaced by a bankruptcy trustee, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (all capital letters, a clever legal deception), and made the federal debt into their “national debt”. Fourth, it made it legally impossible to object to the worthless federal reserve notes. Fifth, it was prima facie evidence that a national socialist security number made them wards of the government and status criminals without the former protections accorded Free Inhabitants. Sixth, it made men (and women) subject to, and object of, administrative bureaucracy without constitutional restrictions. Seventh, it made them co-signers on all the loans the politicians borrow (present tense) from the Federal Reserve.
When Americans were reduced to bleating paupers, hands out for a share of their “entitlements”, the government could rightly ignore the centuries of Law based upon securing private property rights, and shift to policy based on voluntary consent. Without Common Law rights, the Common Law evaporated from public awareness (with a little help from public schools). In its place the strict rules and regulations of “civil law” have become the standard, Instead of natural and personal liberty, those birthrights of free Americans, we now have civil and political liberty as permitted by our master government. Contrary to popular belief, “Civil Liberty” is not freedom, but license (permission). Who needs permission (license) to own a dog, marry, build a house, travel public roads, carry a gun, and so on? Not a Free Man. Who needs to pay a tax for the privilege to live, work, or hold property? Not a Free Man!
Since 1935, Americans have surrendered their Republic form of government, guaranteed by Article 4, Section 4 of the constitution for the united States of America, and the promise to the Free Inhabitants of the Land from Article IV of the Articles of Confederation, in exchange for the mob rule of democracy. If you think democracy is something fine and good, you have been brainwashed, programmed, and indoctrinated with ANTI-AMERICAN propaganda. If you think it’s good that American lives and property are being used to make the world safe for democracy, your ancestors are spinning in their graves in outrage. Patrick Henry would spit on you. George Washington would turn his head from you. Ben Franklin would kick you in the arse.
All Law is for the protection of life and property. All else is mere policy, and policy requires fully informed consent. And though involuntary servitude was outlawed, there is no restriction on voluntary servitude, howbeit by fraud and deceit. Why do Americans keep re-electing the same politicians year after year? None of them ever honor their oath of office to defend and protect the constitution, and restore the Republic.
In answer to the question why Americans have no rights, national socialism is to blame. However, our continued consent to national socialism is the mechanism that has locked the chains of tyranny upon us. He who consents can’t complain… can’t bite the hand that feeds you… beggars can’t be choosers… you get the idea.

I watched some woman (obviously a liberal, gun control fanatic) on the news stating that in Georgia, all you have to do is pay $15 and pass a finger print check. I haven't seen anyone correct this lady. I have a permit and it cost me $50 and I had to go through a local, State and FBI background check.
Why don't the folks in the news challenge these idiots?

HB 89. This bill will make Georgia a safer place, not a more dangerous place. It will not lead to any increase in gun related violence. I am glad we have a governor who did not cave in to the blatant lies and misrepresentations from anti-gun groups who were clearly provided a bully pulpit by the local news channels.
It is not the law abiding citizens, who have undergone a background investigation by the GBI and the FBI, and have obtained a concealed carry license, who will perpetrate crimes using a gun. It will still be the criminal, people who still do not care what the law says. And now, there exist a measure of self-defense that was denied before. Kudos Governor Perdue.

Am i the only person who really does not understand this stimulus payment? I am just not getting the facts. Why have something like this created and then just yank it out from under you? Why promise the american people they can take this money and do as they wish, and just when you are about to get you hands on it, you get the lovely letter informing you that you may see some it. I had my hopes built up with a letter saying to look for a check for $1500.00 to do as I wished. Then there is the "for review" section on the bottom on the back. Well, even though I am in disputes with the IRS and did receive ALL of my 2007 return, they have decided they will just "hold on to what is being disputed" till it is resloved and only send me $304.34. Does this seem fair to anyone else? I do not owe child support or any loans. How is this suppose to help stimulate the economy if they can do what they please to your money before they send it to you?

The time to find alternative energy has finally arrived. I think it is shameful that an american pres. would go to an OPEC nation, which is SUPPOSED to be friends, pleading for oil. I know some will take exception to my statement, but so be it. The outrageous oil price is destroying our economy. And when anything is causing a problem-IT IS A PROBLEM. The U.S. must leave our dependence on oil behind.

Welcome to the Roland S. Martin Newsletter.
Excuse me if a look of bewilderment continues to cross my face when a surrogate of Sen. Hillary Clinton, or even the candidate herself, starts off on the we-need-hard-working-white-workers-to-win-in-November mantra.
In fact, the candidate herself has now made that the primary - and latest argument - that she is making to the superdelegates in order to convince them that she's the best person to beat Sen. John McCain in November.
"I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on," she told USA Today. They said she cited an Associated Press article "that found how Sen. Obama's support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me."
Now, I know I'm not one of those hard-working white Americans she's talking about, but the reality is that hard-working white Americans alone will not put Sen. Clinton or Sen. Barack Obama in the White House.
African Americans alone won't do it.
Young voters alone won't do it.
Seniors alone won't do it.
The college educated alone won't do it.
The no-working Americans alone won't do it.
Gays and lesbians alone won't do it.
Non-religious voters alone won't do it.
Veterans alone won't do it.
Hispanics alone won't do it.
Women alone won't do it.
In fact, Democrats alone won't do it. You also must take a good portion of independents.
No Democrat can win the White House unless they are able to pull from all the various constituencies in the country, and it's downright silly for the Clinton campaign to continue to assert that when it's all said and done, hard working white votes are the only votes that matter.
Sure, they'll contend that that's not what they are saying. But it sure sounds that way (and no, I don't agree with what's being said on blogs that this is playing the race
card).
But it's downright silly.
Is Clinton suggesting that the whites that voted for Obama in Iowa, New Hampshire (where she beat him by around 8,000 votes), Missouri, Iowa, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Washington state, Minnesota and so many other states were phantom voters? Were they not hard-working white voters? Were they only the "eggheads and African Americans" who Paul Begala referred to on CNN on election night?
Look, I get spin. And I get that Clinton must figure out some kind of argument that makes sense for the superdelegates to go her way and ignore Obama's lead among pledged delegates, the popular vote and state's won. But when a Democratic candidate continues to ram home this notion that hard-working white Americans somehow are the bedrock foundation of the Democratic Party, it's just not true.
Clinton wants to make the argument that her white working class support in Ohio and Pennsylvania - states the Democrats need to win in November - shows she's the best choice. But one major failure in Clinton's argument is the assumption that all of the traditional Democratic constituencies will continue to offer her broad support if she's the nominee. And considering her high negatives, she can't afford any erosion. Obama could make the case that she has failed miserably in the primaries in garnering young voters and African Americans, and without them, she loses.
Not only that, the Democratic Party has a chance to expand the map beyond the battleground states of Ohio and Pennsylvania. If you look at the presidential map, Democrats have a solid shot at winning Iowa, New Mexico, Missouri, Virginia, Colorado, Nevada and New Hampshire. Of those states, Obama won four of the seven, and had narrow losses in New Mexico and New Hampshire.
Small states? Sure. Winnable? Absolutely. Their electoral votes count as much as the big states.
If the Democratic Party is serious about winning, they are going to have to put on ice this notion that white working class voters, or any other constituency, are the be-all-to-end-all in November. Winning the White House, no matter the candidate, is about building a true broad coalition, and how else to judge that than who has done that in the primary? If it's Obama, he's the nominee. If it's Clinton, she's the nominee.
That should be on the mind of every superdelegate, and not the debate over which ethnic group reigns supreme at the ballot box.

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton split primary victories, but she emerges with diminished prospects. Sen. Obama gets a substantial win in North Carolina, demonstrating strength following long days of adversity.
Sen. Clinton gets a win in Indiana but not a big victory.
Sen. Clinton will have a tough time raising money and convincing uncommitted Democratic superdelegates to move to her column. Georgia superdelegates are lined up as follows: Obama-7; Clinton-3; Uncommitted-3.
Georgia superdelegate and Obama supporter Mary Long told me, "Every superdelegate has a right to make a decision about which candidate they want." But, she added, "I want them to settle it soon." Georgia superdelegate Lonnie Plott, a Clinton supporter, said his committment would not change unless the candidate released her delegates.

Ask yourself a question. How far do you have to drive to get to work and other places?
As gas prices continue to soar, the excuse has always been because of the demand for oil. But who are we kidding here? Is there really such a high demand?
So again, ask yourself a serious question. Has any of your habits of burning fuel changed, in over the last eight years?
If you're like most U.S. citizens, then you pretty much have done the same thing, the same exact way, for the longest period of time. The same miles that it took you to drive to work today are the same miles that you took eight years ago and even when you first started your job.
And the same can be said of a lot of your driving habits, cooking habits and for the amount of gas you use to heat your homes. So, where is this so-called "high" demand that is driving up the cost of gas?
There isn't any. Because you're not doing more today then you did yesterday. Therefore, the demand of gas even isn't recognized.
But not so fast. Wait a minute. There is still a war going on. And the U.S. is spending billions of dollars, each week, to continue a situation that appears not to be productive.
So, why should it cost you more to do the same exact things that you've always done, when the real cost of gas is due to the war in Iraq and Afghanistan?
It is costing you more money to buy orange juice, just because of the effects of gas prices. Prices that are a direct result of a political fumble. So, what are we to do?
The only way to really ease the pain at the pump and to get the U.S. economy back on track, is to challenge the White House to fest up and use the oil that we already have in reserve.
Whether people may know it or not, the U.S. will not run out of fuel for a long time. We have enough oil to last us at least another decade, even if not another barrel of oil is imported to America. But since the american people are so use to believing in the fear of its elected officials, we don't dare question what is right in front our face.
Some of you might disagree. But I ask you one last time. Consider the question of whether you're doing more to drive up the cost of gas or not. And then ask yourself where's the demand is actually coming from.
Let's do the math. Shall we?
