California's Supreme Court that gay couples in the country's largest state can marry -- a monumental but perhaps short-lived victory for the gay rights movement. What do you think of the California high court's ruling on the issue? Let me know what you think.

I Think Governor Perdue is out of his mind for legalizing this new gun bill. I do not care if these are registered gun owners. I will not feel comfortable or safe in this city if it does go through on July the 1st. This is just what this city needs! I do not get him...I just don't!

I have noticed that a lot of senoirs are having to go back to work because the retirement isn't enough to get by on. The only jobs that they (we) are able to get are Greeters, and maybe a McDonalds job. The kids that interview you over look the talent because of the age. You have to complete applications online and never gbe they do)et to interview because they look at the dates you were in school, never realizing the we may be in better physical and mental condition than they are (or maybe they do). Our talents are wasted because we are over looked. Don't throw us away!!

At the gas pumps in this morning, I stare at the swiftly spinning dials, and the cycle of anger begins. Oil Robber Barons strike at the pumps again. I check out at the grocery store, Oil Robber Barons impact the food I eat. I come home and watch the nightly news, Oil Robber Barons, Oil Robber Barons, something about Hilary and Obama, Oil Robber Barons.
It is true that we are a capitalistic society, and our country enjoys the luxury of a free market, but when our economy is driven by Oil Robber Barons, where is the line between a free market society and out of control greed?
The countries that regulate thier oil sales, have a stronger dollar then the U.S. (They are financially stronger than the United States.) Why, because they know their economy is based off the cost of fuel. Do we need the same regulations to protect our country, or do we allow Oil Robber Barons to drive down America until we are a weak, over inflated, hollow country, dependant on the generosity of other nations?

Dear Sirs, with all due respect I disagree with the question the reporter made to the man that was working as a subcontractor for the Locksmith company. Why did she ask, Where are you from? who cares where is he from?, what does it have to do with the issue she was talking about?
It was totally inappropriate. It sounded very racist and profiling.

i am getting tired of these high gas prices. i do not think that we will ever see it go back down to $2.50 ever again. Somebody needs to do something about it right away or there wil be no more automobiles on the road because people will either be riding bicycles or going back to the horse and buggy days to get around. It cost me between $35 and $40 dollars right now to put fuel in my truck. another thing is that you can go out of town and get gas either 15cent or 20cent cheaper than where you live at. The way the price of oil is right now per barrell they could sell gas for around $2.00 a gallon and still make money. i am also surprised that all of the Semi- Truck drivers have went on strike for about 3 months becuase of the high price of desiel. i have seen it at $4.25 where i live at in a small town.

Our I-Team hidden camera investigation found just what the Federal Trade Commission warned: some locksmiths are overcharging and playing themselves off as local when they're not local at all.
Drew and Clarissa Owen say they called Atlanta Locksmith and got a $400 estimate to have their locks changed. After the work was done they were handed a bill for more than $3,000. Geraldine Essix got locked out of the house and called State Locksmith, but her estimate and her bill were far apart.
So, the I-Team went undercover and also called State Locksmith to pick a lock. We couldn't get a firm estimate, but the state's trade organization said it was a $75 job. What were we charged? $192.
Read what else we found. Atlanta Locksmith and State Locksmith had different numbers, but both went to the same company: Reliable Locksmith in Florida. The company operates a call center in Florida, then sends sub-contractors out to do the work. What's more, the Better Business Bureau gives Florida's Reliable Locksmith an "F" rating.
A spokesman with the trade organization says companies like this are operating across the country using different names and numbers, subbing out jobs, overcharging customers, then disappearing into a maze of names. Trying to get your money back is nearly impossible.
A quick note: Our story is not about Reliable Locksmith in Dunwoody or Atlanta Lockservice, Inc.

I was going to pay my gas bill today. Not my auto gas...my home gas. Something I haven't done in the past was to really look over the charges. Today I decided to look at the bill. Normally, I get an email and I pay.
Well imagine my surprise to see an AGL Pass-Through charge for $18. Hmmm what is this? So I looked it up. Turns out that AGL charges the gas marketers a fee based on the number of customers they have on the 20th of the month. Those gas marketers in turn, charge US for being THEIR customer!
So not only am I paying 9.95 a month as a customer service fee, I'm paying between $15-20 a month again to be their customer.
What's wrong with this picture?

As a follow up to the previous blog I posted concerning Paulding County and the lawmaking blunders, State Law says that a cab can pick up in the county or counties that they are permitted in and may transport the customer to any destination that the customer wants to go to. So, since State Law can not be superceeded by any local law, Paulding County is illegally enforcing a bogas and ridiculious law.

If the federal government doesn't step in to provide tax relief for drivers, do you think the governor should act at the state level? Let me know what you think.

When researching a story we often get differing opinions on a topic. But, when we set out to find why large transit busses would sit and idle for hours, there was no debate: shouldn’t be done and doesn’t need to be done.
Today’s diesel and Natural Gas buses run too well to need to idle for long periods before starting. And, doing so wastes valuable fuel and taxpayer’s money as well as pollutes the environment.
So, when a resident tipped us off to MARTA idling hundreds of buses over night most of the night, we set out to prove it.
We stayed up, watched, recorded, and talked to residents who did their own investigation.
What does MARTA say? They say that doesn’t happen. Must be a misunderstanding.
Tonight at six and ten and on myfoxatlanta.com you can see the evidence yourself and tell us if you hear what we hear.

I have been hearing a reporter giving a tease about a story that is planned to air on Fox13.
His question, loud and clear, is:
How is it that Sex Offenders on Probation are allowed to live in tents at a Campground for the Homeless? How can that be their Address when they are supposed to be under Supervision by State Corrections Authorities, and the Sheriff's Department?
I am already of the opinion that a person with a Fifty Intelligence Quotient could spell it out where anyone could understand. But, I will proceed, nonetheless;
- Nobody: not the Lawmakers, not the Psychologists, and certainly not the Public, is willing to see that there is a difference between the "average" Sexual Offender and the "Predatory" Sexual Offender.
- Nobody: not the Lawmakers, not the Psychologists, and certainly not the Public, is willing to allow these people to reintegrate into Society.
- Nobody: not the Lawmakers, not the Psychologists, and certainly not the Public, is willing to allow these people to work and be productive Citizens.
- Nobody: not the Lawmakers, not the Psychologists, and certainly not the Public, is willing to allow these people to live next door to them.
Actually, one does not even have to be a Sexual Offender to see this dynamic at work against them. These sanctions are generally applied to most anyone who has ever been convicted of a Felony Offense. People with a history of serious crime are no longer considered to be human beings, even if they have been going straight for years after they came out of Prison.
If you are not one who feels that way, and you don't happen to believe it is true, just call around to a half-dozen Employment Agencies and ask if they will place someone with a Felony Record. I recently took such a poll for a friend who is on staff with an Employability Workshop, and I was stunned with the answers I received from the Agencies I contacted.
So, I ask you; if a Human Being is considered not a human being, and cannot find employment, and cannot pay for a place to live IF a place can be found, what are they going to do? What can they do besides bum around and maybe panhandle for enough to but some food and beer, and live in a tent somewhere?
WAKE UP, PEOPLE!! Don't you think they would be less likely to repeat their offenses if the were allowed to regain some of their Human Dignity, make an honest living, and go on toward a brighter future? Evidently, that is what Congress believes in passing the Second Chance Act that was recently signed into Law by the President.
And the ones who repeated, in spite of the second chance given, would naturally be labeled as such, and be given harsher punishment.
Otherwise, what has happened to our concept of Human Rights and Human Dignity. How can we possibly cry out about other Nations violating the Human Rights of their Citizens when 0.9% of American Citizens are CURRENTLY incarcerated? That's approximately 27 MILLION in a Nation of 300 Million . . . IN JAIL RIGHT NOW!
Does that make you proud to be an American??
