Polygamist Trouble

How is it that polygamy is illegal in the USA, but in the name of "religion" those folks are allowed to do what they do?  Why haven't some if not all of those men at the compound not been arrested?

I'd hate to know that someone (that can't be found) could call the local law enforcement and make allegations about me and then I'd be hauled off to jail.  The prosecution has a flimsy charge to make it stick.  I'm ashamed of the efforts in Texas of lawmakers.

Those women that spoke on TV were obviously drugged --- they talked real slow and with slurred speech and kept looking over to their left for coaching from the men and husbands that were NOT on cam.

Larry King might buy their lies ---- I don't!

And who's really suffering through all of this?  the CHILDREN!  It breaks my heart!

read my blog Wisdom I said the same as you my friend, It's sad for the children to be up rooted and pulled away from the only home and way of life they've ever known.I've not seen a single man being charged here with a sex crime.
I said it before, investigate,use intel,then decide on a course of action,the way the Texas authorities handled this situation was in so many ways so wrong, and now family & child services are compounding the fact by placing them in foster homes whom are so far removed from how they were raised.If it were my child being snatched from me,without any proof of wrong-doing,just on the basis of hear-say well let's just say it'll be a knock down dragged out court fight, ergo violation of civil liberties,and parental rights,and reliegous freedoms.1st prove child endangerment then act on real evidence, build a case then take action. com' on Texas.....trippy

What I can't understand is why would ANY SANE MAN actually WANT more than ONE WIFE?...

The nagging....the nagging.....the nagging...
It must be like a living hell. Oh I know what you're thinking...."but look at all the sex you can have!" .... Sorry, I've seen the women on T.V. ...and Sex would be furtherest from my mind. However, Plastic Surgery would be FOREMOST!

If this were any other children living in a home and being sexually abused we would all be outraged if they didn't uproot them and move them into foster care. The fact that they have been brain washed all their lives into believing that being touched sexually and given to "old men" as wives is "God's Way" is horrible. All of the women that they have spoken to have "hollow eyes", they have no life in them! I hope they keep all the children and maybe they will have a chance at a normal life after this. And if you know anything about the cult, it has nothing to do with "Religion" it has to do with control, power and sexual abuse. They know that if they control and brain wash the children from a very early age,they will grow up to be the robots they are today. And they also know they will never leave because obviously they know nothing about any other way of life. They are taught that you and I are the "evil people" and to hate us. God's word doesn't say anything about teaching your children to hate. God help them!!!

If gay and lesbian are now be accepted as a lifestyle even in our churchs then whats wrong with having more than one wife?... yeah the kids are screwed up, but so is the adopted kids of gay couples.

Child molesters come in all genders,race and religion.they do not descriminate!
they seek jobs that place them close to our children such as police officers,religious leaders,sports and scouts.
oh and don't forget the lowlifes that hang out on the internet and prey on children.

by the way a female teacher that would have sex with a teenage boy is the same as a cop having sex with a prisoner. it is rape!
