Okay- I bought a new slip-covered sectional end of June last year from Pottery Barn. They told me it would take 6 weeks to deliver. Six weeks came and went. I called up the customer service line to ask when I could expect to get my couch- they said they would track it down and give me an eta. Another week or so goes by and I have to call them back again. They said they were having trouble tracking my couch down because somehow it got lost between the west coast and Atlanta. Long story short, months go by, they only delivered half of it, the other half was completely gone, they ended up having to have a new one made and shipped to me.... I finally got my sectional in NOVEMBER!!

So, recently, I took the slip covers to the dry-cleaners to get dry cleaned. The WHOLE purpose I spent the money on a slip-covered couch was for the purpose of being able to remove the covers and get them cleaned. ALL the covers shrank at the drycleaners! Not one of them fits the cushions or the frame of the couch anymore. So I call Pottery Barn and explain the situation to them and ask them to replace the slip covers since the purpose of slip covers is to be able to remove and clean them and the fabric should be pre-shrunk to ensure something like this would not happen. They told me that it was not their responsibility! After ALL I went through for this couch and how long I had to wait while they screwed up time and time again, they couldn't maybe replace my slip covers as a 'sorry our cheap fabric sucks'??

I will NEVER purchase another piece of furniture from Pottery Barn EVER again!
