Senior citzens are the best workers of all

There are times that I love seeing senior citzens handling a job that would normaly be done by a young person.  It just adds decor to the place.  To me, it looks kind of cute to see an old person at work.  A person who is about 75 years old working at Target, or a man working at a snack bar at Wal-Mart who may be 94 years old.  That would be wonderful if we could see activity like that!  And what would look pretty is floor techs averaging between 50 and 100 on their ages.  Since there are people with YEARS of experience, it would be stupid to throw their careers away.

Yes but they are working because they need the money to pay for there meds and doctor bills and even food...
They should be able to stay home and enjoy retirment but can't..

I agree Harp. I sure wouldnt want to see my parents having to work at Target or Walmart. They instead have fun with friends and family and go fishing!

I always feel sorry for the older people having to work.

Yes and the idiots we hire to work for us in Washington doesn't give a hoot about the money. Lots of the times, the money gets spent on the war in Iraq. That is one reason why I too have elected not to retire. I am glad that look after myself and keep my muscles in good working order!

However, how we can stay healthy is by paying a visit to the AARP boards and look at the medical posts in the wellness forum. We can learn from mistakes seniors made when they were kids. Like back around war time in the 1940s, people didn't know that smoking was bad for you. Now here it is, 60 years later and now we feel that back then we started a stupid habit.
