NOVEMBER 5 in America.

 

I am convinced the liberal polls are wrong and think McCain will win.  However who ever wins, Obama or McCain, I am praying that for ONCE, in 16 years, we can all come together again.   I might not be convinced that the Ultra Left, who has hijacked the Democratic Party, will accept President McCain.   I do know normal Democrats will.  But I am hoping that ALL Republicans and voters who didn’t vote for Obama would help him succeed and bring together the nation again.   While having one eye on a President Obama and the Liberal Agenda, I for one will do everything I can to follow his lead where I can.   I hope the same thing from the Democrats who now have a President McCain.

 

We can no longer be divided, especially with the many things that need to be done in this nation.  We have foreign threats, internal threats and concerns about Energy, the Environment, Borders, Crime and the Economy that should bring us all to the table to tackle them in a way that all are happy…. Regardless of who is elected.    We must stop this Do Nothing attitude that allows for our cities to burn while we yell at each other in campaigns.  And we have to start looking out for each other, instead of sitting there with our hand out or worse passing by those in need.   And we must fight those who want to harm us who include the criminals, the corrupt, the greedy, and those who better themselves at the expense of others.  We must make bad Americans accountable.

 

I am not sure what will happen in 4 years but if we will stop fighting each other we can weather these storms and maybe for once in 16 years we might get things done.  And if who is ever elected messes things up, we need to get rid of him until we find a leader who has our interests at heart.   And if who ever is elected succeeds we need to embrace them and encourage more.   We are the nation, and these folks in Washington need to re learn that.   One thing I liked what Obama said 4 years ago was, “we are not a red America, or a Blue America .. But the United States of America.”  

 

THIS IS AMERICA NOVEMBER 5, 2008 and I for one will start acting like it.  And I hope all the voters do.   Nuff Said.

I am also convinced that McCain/Palin will win one way or the other. The racism in this country will probably tilt the scales just enough, but if not, the confusion and "mistakes" at the polls will tilt in favor of McCain/Palin.

It is really amazing that the federal government has been able to hold elections so long without having a consistent method for voting in this country. Of course that fact makes it easy to manipulate and cheat.

I believe that if McCain wins (very doubtful though), Obama supporters will do exactly what you would expect- take to the streets and riot. If Obama wins, they'll do exactly what you would expect- take to the streets to celebrete and exact retribution. Either way- America and Democracy loses.

shadows... in 2004, the only cheating occured by the democrats as it did in 1960. The liberal media has even cleared the 2000 election as one that was close like the Washington State Gove election of 2004 where after 11 recounts, they gave the election to a Democrat... with 200 votes the difference. I would like to see an entire new revamp of the registration process and voting method. I like the one in Volusia county.. they ask for ID ( that the Democrats dont want to encourage) up the ying yang and I like their ballots. Ann McFall does a great job here.

Like Drivers licences, they need to be renewed as well so you dont live in 3 states at the same time. THey should have the registration linked to Drivers Licences and people not driving be able to go to normal election offices.

You might be right. Kerry was supposed to beat Bush in the last election. Hey, remember from history Dewey beat Truman as printed in the newspaper, but Truman won.

After a long and careful consideration of all the implications and possible consequences of my actions today, I have decided to go through with this in the hope that our country can indeed be guided into the right direction. First, a little personal background… I am a female grad student in my 20’s, and a registered Democrat. During the primaries, I was a campaign worker for the Clinton candidacy. I believed in her and still do, staying all the way to the bitter end. And believe me, it was bitter. The snippets you’ve heard from various media outlets only grazed the surface. There was no love between the Clinton and Obama campaigns, and these feelings extended all the way to the top. Hillary was no dope though, and knew that any endorsement of Obama must appear to be a full-fledged one. She did this out of political survival. As a part of his overall effort to extend an olive branch to the Clinton camp and her supporters, Obama took on a few Hillary staff members into his campaign. I was one such worker. Though I was still bitterly loyal to Hillary, I still held out hope that he would choose her as VP. In fact, there was a consensus among us transplants that in the end, he HAD to choose her. It was the only logical choice. I also was committed to the Democratic cause and without much of a second thought, transferred my allegiance to Senator Obama.

For what I hear......and people I know which are MANY ALL OVER THE PLACE......DEMOCRATS.....ARE NOT VOTING FOR OBAMA.......WHAT I FEAR IS THAT McCAIN WILL WIN AND OF COURSE, OBAMA WILL USE A RACE CARD WHICH HE IS "NOT ENTITLED TO" CAUSE HE AINT BLACK OR WHITE.........AND THUS CREATE A SCENARIO FOR RIOTINGS.......AFTER ALL, HE HAS THE SUPPORT OF EVERY CONVICTED FELON AND WELFARE RECIPIENT!!!

I FIRMLY believe that my life will be in great danger if Obama wins. I am in need of a kidney transplant. I will most likely have to wait far too long under Mr. Obama's socialized healthcare plan. The good news is if I can live long enough all my meds will be paid for post transplant BUT nothing in life is free!

I personally don't see the need to call someone an Oreo or anything else because of his race. I couldn't care less what race a person is, unless it's a big issue to them. For the record saying Obama will lose because of racism is probably the biggest racist remark I've ever heard. Are you saying that if he wins it's because he's black? No, then why are you saying it the other way? Why can't he lose because his views are different than the majority?

I should know better than to get into an argument over this, but I'm growing tired in the final hours of election lies, tricks, and twists.

if he wins it is because hes black, blacks and other minorities are voting in record numbers, most of these people would probably not even bother to vote if only white people were running, most not all want a part of his spread the wealth plan, i like that plan we all work hard to split it with lazy asses sitting home watching jerry springer smokin pot, also if he looses ill bet a months pay there will be rioting like not seen since the 60s, how do you deal with people who burn their houses down then go looting big screen tvs and cant even watch them since they burned their house

I just came from Philadelphia which is almost always democratic and all I saw were McCain Palin signs - not just in the suburbs either. People talking in the stores were encouraging each other to vote and not for Obama. I agree, I think McCain is going to win and possibly big. The press is going to have some serious explaining to do.
