Hi Tracy,

I am getting ready to leave for a football game, so I don't have much time to write everything I want to say now, but I just wanted to write a quick something here, and will add to this post as I have more to say.  Today is my birthday Tracy, but because I am a giving person, and enjoy it, I wanted to give to you a gift on my birthday, which is this post, sort of a tribute to how beautiful you truly are.  I think everyone should be told how wonderful you are, and so I will tell them, and write down the reasons I think you are wonderful.  First, I thank you for giving me some sunshine every time I've watched you give the forcast, and I never thought that Fox 5 appreciated you for what you brought to the station, in terms of your knowledge and personality, which is your greatest asset Tracy.  Your knowledge of the weather is complete, and the way you are able to explain weather related things in laymens terms is nothing short of superb, and I know I've told you this before, but you have actually awakened me to a newly found interest in weather.  Your personality is, in my opinion, the best I have ever seen, and when you smile in combination with that personality, you give beauty a whole new definition.  I don't understand why Fox never put you on air more, as I think it would have been such an asset for them to promote you as much as possible.  I think your face and persona would have given them great ratings.  If you read this Tracy, I know you will probably say how can I tell people who you are when I don't even know you myself, and you would have a good point, since we've never met, but I can just sense from watching you on air, and reading about things you have done, what kind of person you are, and the answer to that question Tracy, quite simply, would be the best kind.  From watching you I can sense you are a positive thinker most of the time, you love what you do, you like to play and have fun with people, and yet you are shy, and a little unsure of yourself at times, but who isn't every once in awhile?  From reading and watching news reports, I have learned you are a very charitable giving person, and that in itself makes you wonderful.  I know you have spoken at several charitable events for cancer and other things, and I know you have given your time to children in the Big Brothers and Sisters program, which is such a good thing for you to do.  I've seen that you have spoken to kids at schools to tell them about weather forcasting, and the few times I've seen you on air talking to, or working with kids, I can see how much fun you have with them, and how much joy you get from them, and anyone who gets such joy from a child as you do, has to have, in my opinion, a beautiful heart, and a beautiful soul, and obviously loves children very much.  Based solely on watching you with kids, I can say with all confidence that you do have a beautiful heart, and a beautiful soul, and you are a wonderful woman Tracy.  I wish you all the happiness this world can give you, and I hope that God blesses you every day, and I will make sure that I ask him to do so, every day. : )  As I said, I will continue to edit and add to this post as I have the time, but in the meantime, I will ask everyone out there to give some love, and tell Tracy why you like her.

Have a wonderful day Tracy : )

Tom : )

Tom,

Do you mind if I offer a non-judgmental observation?

These messages are coming off (to me) as kind of creepy.

I am certain that is not what you intended, but, since it's clear to me you would not want to give that impression, I thought it might be helpful to you if I shared my observation.

I think it's a beautiful thing, when someone shares their feelings directly without fear holding them back. Doesn't sound creepy to me at all because Tom is as "true blue" as it gets! I wish more people in my life were like him.I bet there are many people out there that wish they had Tom's courage.

I hope Tracy finds the courage to reply to him. Otherwise, those freezing temps she been talking about may be coming from within.

SamIam,

I'm sorry but I disagree that your observation is non-judgemental. To me, it is judgemental, of the post, and in a back-handed way, of me. I would ask you what is so creepy about what I wrote? As Jane has stated, I'm only writing my feelings about her, and complimenting her, so thank you Jane for writing on my behalf. Everything I've written is true and from the heart, and is not meant to be a negative, but I do realize that some people might put a negative spin on it, and that's fine, if they think that way, I can't tell them differently. I know what my intentions are, and people who know me do also, so, to me, that's all that matters, but in case you were wondering, my intent is just to tell Tracy how wonderful I think she is because of who she is, and what she has done, and to get other people to do the same, and I see nothing wrong in that. Your observation doesn't help, as all you've done by using "creepy" is put a negative thought in what was supposed to be a positive post, and besides, the post is already out there for all to see, so what's done is done. I bear no ill will towards you, but I will not thank you for your comment.

I will, however wish you a great day SamIam!

Hi Jane,

Thanks again for sticking up for me. I value your friendship very much, and I feel blessed to call you my friend. : )

I know you care about me, and want Tracy to say hello to me, but if she doesn't, it is ok with me, so I want it to be ok with you also. As my friend I ask you not to have any bad feelings towards her about it, because, as I've already said, we have no idea why she would not reply, and I respect whatever her reason would be for not doing so. It could be something as simple as she just doesn't like a public forum such as this.

Have a wonderful day Jane!

No matter what anybody thinks, Tom is right, Tracy is a great lady a great weather authority and a great reporter overall! Tom is also right about the smile, I mean, if that's not a million dollar smile then show me one that is! Tom is just being honest about his feelings which, while perhaps making him vulnerable, is not creepy at all. Tom, you are not creepy, you're crazy....crazy in love...ha! Just busting your chops, my man. Keep on keeping on! Happy Tuesday.

Hey Daniel,

Thanks for your comments my friend. At least you get it. This post is supposed to be why people like Tracy, that's it. I thank you for being my friend, for sticking up for me, and for busting my chops, very good. : ) I do appreciate it.

Happy Tuesday to you too.

SamIam,

I deleted your last comment as I want to keep this post positive. You made your point, so leave it at that. The reason I don't like your perspective is that it sheds a negative light where none was meant, or even thought about. I truly do understand your point, and I know some will think the same as you, but I don't, that's all.

Have a great day SamIam!

You know.... it wasn't a small bit of effort write that poem. . . .

I THOUGHT I was playing off of a reference to Dr. Seuss i.e. your "I will not thank you" sounded like "I will not try it" . . . Sam Iam... I thought we would connect through humor.

Oh well, your blog, your rules. Delete as you must.

Hey SamIam,

Oops, sorry, I didn't see that, and usually I'm very good at getting things. I guess I was taken by surprise with your first comment, so I thought you were being negative again, that and I didn't have enough coffee today. I should have caught on quicker with your blog name being what it is, huh? I have read some of your comments in other blogs, and you do have a good sense of humor, so I promise if you repeat, I won't delete. Again, sorry for that, and I'll lighten up on the rules if you lighten up your perspective. LOL J

Have a great night SamIam, and I do like that book by the way.

Glad we could resolve our difference before our families were plunged into a feud which would burn for generations. . . .

or, you know, I run into you at the Pancake House. :)

Hey SamIam,

Since I'm of mostly Irish ancestry, can you tell? LOL Anyway, my ancestry means I would have to be from the McCoy's. That leaves the Hatfield's for you. : )

Do they serve green eggs at the Pancake House? : )

Enjoy the night SamIam!

It took this blog for me to recognize SamIam's sharp sense of humor(I already know Tom's)!
A duel of 2 champions, with a peaceful resolution!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to eat my breakfast with a fox, in a box(or is it, in the box of a fox?)!

I guess I will start by saying I am a Jersey Boy through and through. I was born in Orange, raised in Cedar Grove, and now live in Caldwell. I've traveled throughout Europe, and have been in many other states, and I can honestly say I love this area because we have a little bit of everything, beaches, farmland, forests, historical sites, lakes, mountains, ocean, rivers, and of course the best city in the world close by, New York. I have many interests and have done many things, but in general, I like to enjoy life and everything it teaches me. I believe that our loved ones, family and friends, are the most precious things in life, and I believe we are here on this earth to help other people whenever we can. My main philosophy on life is something the Beatles sang, "And in the end, the love you make is equal to the love you take". It affected me the first time I heard it, and I have kept it in my heart ever since. I love to play the guitar and sing as it is a great way to relax, and I love all kinds of music because it can lift your spirits and renew good memories. One of my most favorite songs is "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman" by Bryan Adams as I feel all men should want to know their special woman in such a close and intimate way. Saying that, I've never been married, not finding the one yet, and I don't have any children, but I love kids, having 3 nephews, and 3 Godchildren, as well as having many friends with kids, and every one of them always brings a smile to my face. I also love animals and have always been fascinated by them, but I am more of a dog person than a cat person.
