Georgia's U.S. Senate race appears headed for a runoff in December.  Question is, will you go to the polls again to vote?  Let me know here.

I figured it would go into a runoff anyway, so I will go to the polls again, however annoying it may be.

Of course, we can't allow the democrats complete control, just like when the republicans had complete control there has to be a check and balance, when one party is in control they think it's party land with our money. I wish we had a 50/50 liberal-conservative system with congress.

Why don't they flip a coin I heard a story that two mayoral candidates did that someplace.
Better than having to go through a Dog & Pony show again with all the negative ads...Trippy

Yes, I will go vote again. That is the only way I have a right to complain when things do go right.

Chambliss is a butthole who wanted to open the door to illegals with an amnesty program, he marches in lockstep with Bush, he turned around and went in the opposite direction when his constituents were ready to hang him.
I dont know that Martin is any better, he looks a little funny, just another case of two poor choices

Yes, of course I'll vote again! We can't take a chance and allow another liberal in office.

Go Chambliss!!!

Yes, I will be there again. However many times it takes to have a watchdog that, hopefully, will keep this new administration in line.

Isn't it simply amazing that Ga, Miss, Alabama, all the poor southern states vote Republican? A study showed that these states
voters were mostly white, mostly didn't have a high education and were poor.

Good thing that I voted Democrat. I am opposite the above except for the fact that I am white.

Voting for Martin. Say bye-bye to the good ole boy, Saxby. Say hello to Martin.

You liberals are all the same. You want to always point fingers at the big bad Republicans. Point the fingers all you want but remember there is 3 fingers pointing back at you. If we were all stupid and poor like Liberal and Santas_Elf suggest we would have voted for Obama and yes Martin! I don't know about you but I personaly want to keep my money and give to whom I see fit, not let the goverment decide who get's it. The stupid, poor and LAZY (yes I said it) are the only one that stands to gain from this. If you Democraps get what you want then we all will be stupid, poor, and yes lazy! I said this time and time again please show me one poor person making their cofers fatter by, living off the govt., and has people working for them and creating jobs! Truly giving back to society!

I, like you, Liberal, am opposite of your generalization of the "poor southern states". I'm educated, middle class, and as you can see, white.

I differ from you in several other ways though. One amazing difference is that you see it as a good thing that you voted Democrat. It is beyond my understanding that you did and are proud of it. Why do you want to take my money away from me for a socialistic system? Spreading the wealth is not a primary function of the federal government, at least it shouldn't be.

Swatdad: Do you make over 250K per year? If so, then you WILL see a 3% increase in your taxes..otherwise you can sit back and relax.

Spreading the wealth, as you call it, IS our U.S. tax system. The Government does give money to people who have lost their jobs...unemployment, ...they give to underprivileged, and handicapped, too. Are you saying that we shouldn't give to these groups?

Your "Socialist" sytem as you call it, is basically what most RELIGIONS preach. Most of you Holy Rollers should know that. LOL

The Democrats have had it their way the last two years and they are blaming it all on President Bush. Shame on you Demmy's. We Americans, have to say enough is enough. We should not divide into Rep/Dem we are all Americans and should do what is best for ALL instead of a "FEW".

Liberal,

Let's put it this way. IT IS NOT A PRIMARY FUNCTION OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO TAKE MONEY FROM A GROUP AND HAND IT TO ANOTHER GROUP. Read the Constitution.

It happens, yes. But it shouldn't. It has become an out of control punishment on achievement. And it should not get WORSE, which it will with Barry Soetoro as President Elect.

If the Government would leave it up to the private sector and let the citizens that make money, KEEP their money, and not take it by force, Americans, have always, and will always, donate and take care of their own.

Unfortunately, neither the democrat party or the GOP, seems to remember this. Must have something to do with buying votes and voters.

Swatdad: Oh Really? Does everyone donate to charities and take care of their own? I don't think so...there are many deadbeat dads... and charities begging for donations. Did you run down to New Orleans and donate money or time to help those that lost everything? Have you ever worked at a food pantry for the poor or adopted a child that had no home besides an orphange? Have you ever really taken a good look at all the homeless and poor people that are in the U.S.? Have you ever really helped...most Americans are only concerned about #1 and that is all.

I will definately be voting again. Saxby was not my choice the first time because he supported the bail out. Phoning his office yesterday, I learned (haha) that he would not support an auto company bail out. So he will have my vote this time only because of the precarious balance of power issue.

I do not agree with bailing out the not so big 3. Being a former Detroiter, My memories are not so fond of how the SOME of the auto workers manipulated the system by punching each others time cards, to avoid work, faining illness to avoid work, faking an injury to avoid work and to get workman's comp. They were also known to drink on the job. Truth be told they unionized themselves out of a job. If Obama's theory of building the country from the ground up is correct, there should be no problem with letting the auto companies restructure. This would give the assembly line workers the opportunity to start their OWN auto companies! I am not serious of course, but according to our new leader's economic theory, this may be what he believes! I never got a job from a low income earner or a person who didn't take a risk. How about you?

By the way, Detroit has been in trouble for 30 years, ever since the Japanese built a "better mouse trap". Auto workers would damage foreign cars and get angry at those who chose to purchase foreign cars. I would say, "When Detroit can build a car as well as the Japanese, I will be happy to by one." You can't continue to build an inferior product and survive. They need to go. This would just expand the foreign car industry here and some

Liberal,

Good Questions. I did not go to New Orleans. I would have been in the way of many people that I know who did go. They had better ability to help with labor than I. I did donate, if it is any of your business.

What you do not seem to understand is that under the tax and spend government, people's ability to help becomes limited and some believe that since the government has taken their money it is no longer their responsibility to help further. This could change, but unfortunately it never will.

If your vision of America is simply take by force and that some people are "Less fortunate", I can not change your mind, and people like me are screwed. Votes were bought in this past election and that was the tipping point, Acorn made sure of that, and you bought that. It was a sad day for this country.
