I cant BELIEVE there is approval for another water park! How reckless, or maybe the better word is greed for the green stuff! The only way they could be allowed to build one is with County or City approval...and WHY was it approved and not put on hold for a year as our water situation is reviewed?

Most of us have become accustumed to conserving water. I only wash clothes once a week, turn the water off when brushing, take quick showers, and water my rose and tomato garden with bath water.....dont wash my car anymore, not that I drive it very much...all for some amusement park to build ANOTHER water park to drain the water that we just now rained in after all these months. Some things are just amazing to me.....

Although I am very worried about the drought and have tried to cut back on water use, what I am most worried about is brush fires. One careless smoker tossing a lit cigarette out of a car could cause a fire that could spread to my house while I'm not home--and I have a lot of pets in the house who would be trapped.

My husband and I filled in our in-ground swimming pool last summer because of the drought. We have planted a garden there now and hope to catch enough rain to water it this summer. We are trying to conserve in every possible way.

I haven't been able to wash the SUV in a year, it's funny the city government governs our water usage but doesn't assist with the monthly payment.
