The cop should have shown up and laughed at all of them, told the kids to get out of the tree because they might damage it and anyone offended or scared by the word monkey should be whistled for a "diving" penalty, or maybe given a spanking and sent to their room.

I guess only a real monkey would be offended by that " Monkey " comment .

It’s Obama’s fault for the racial climate in America, There’re really are people that use the word monkeys to describe black people, in a negative way. Are you guys aware of that fact? I’m not saying this is one of those cases but the cop saw it as a big enough deal to write a ticket for it. Do you think the cop has to take some of the blame? He did go there and observed the situation and wrote the lady a ticket.
She could have told them “to get their KIDS out of the fukcing tree. ” Why did she use the word monkeys? Like I was trying to say I do not care who you are you should not be in any trees not this day and age because the fist thing they think of is suing if their kid gets hurt.I could not tell you how many times I climbed trees as I was growing up probable thousands but like you said if we got hurt after we healed our parents would kill us not sue the person that the tree belonged too.when my daughter was 7 she got bite by a dog that was running the street because it got out of the back yard of the owner,my only words to the owner was did it have its shots she said yes and that was the end of it I took her at her word I did not see any short record but let that happen now adays and I can almost guarantee that who's ever kid it would be that the parents would be looking for a lawyer so they could sue.yes kids do dumb things and climbing trees are one of them.I would not care if the kids in the neighbor hood wanted to climb a tree in my yard but I am not getting sued because that parent wants to make easy money if their kid gets hurt.

We also are electricians, local 5800-9A of the United Hospital Emegency Room.

We can lick our fingers and stick them into any outlet to check for power....trip to hospital.

We have learned how to properly drop any live electrical unit into the bathtub while we've been bathing....trip to the hospital.

We have very quickly learned that tying the black wires to the white wires and cutting off the ground connector is grounds to be visited by the local fire department...then a trip to the hospital.

Did anyone ever tell you that if you stick your finger onto a spark plug while a car is running, is grounds for a hospital visit?

Remember, it's not the VOLTAGE, it's the CURRENT...........
