Wow...when the going gets tough...

It's a shame Falcons Coach Bobby Petrino felt he had to throw in the towel, just three games before the end of the season!! His sudden resignation marks the latest in a series of disheartening developments for the team. From losing Michael Vick to losing ten games...and now, losing the head coach...Falcons fans have been put through a LOT this year. We need a coach who's got resilience, dedication and a real sense of loyalty to our Falcons---so, so long Bobby!

Michael Vick is why the team is without him. I would be more upset if here were still playing and it was known what he did. Michael Vick is a liar. Bobby Petrino wasnt a very good coach at the NFL level and I think he knew it. He was just waiting for the right time and Vicks convition was just the thing he needed to conclude the Falcon chapter in his book.

I feel worse for Arthur Blank. He is the one that is losing. I wouldnt doubt it if he tried to sell the Falcons, but that would be an "upside down" purchase from the start. Nobody with sense would buy them, so he has to make the best out of this terrible situation and still pay all these players. Sad.

Suchita, let's be serious.

In the long run, Bobby Petrino will be happy without the Falcons. And I'm sure that the Falcons will be happy without him. But would it have made a difference if he had left when the season ended?

O.K. It may appear to be a bit tackless. But so what! The whole season for the Falcons was tackless. And Bobby Petrino is use to winning. He was out of his league.

But in the long run, this will play out for everyone.

Tacos, anyone?

Bobby Petrino is a Quitter... capital "Q", of course. The problem, as it always has been, is with the TEAM. The Falcons are notoriously non-team oriented, and Deion started that. We don't need any ROCK STARS. We NEED a COLLECTIVE SOUL! Sanders, Rison, and Hall should just go hang out with each other because they're JERKS!

Suchita, FOX 5 Morning News Co-anchor and Good Day Host I've been at FOX 5 and in Atlanta over 5 years and have loved every minute of it! After globetrotting from St. Louis to Chicago, San Francisco, Paris, India and Singapore, I've finally begun to put down roots here in our great city :-) Can't get enough of cool restaurants and funky hangouts....if food is involved, I'm THERE! LOVE trying new cuisines, and learning about different places and cultures :-) My I-pod is loaded with 80's music. Watch out---I'll find any excuse to throw on a pair of legwarmers!
