LocalBlogger's view of the issues

by LocalBlogger from The Suburbs but I tell everyone I'm from Detroit!

For the first time ever, I am considering not voting in the upcoming presidential elections.

For one, does anyone feel like the campaigning started WAY too early?

Is anyone else sick and tired of the negative campaign practices which are about to begin (according to the news reports the last few days) and we all know they are coming. They will bombard our airwaves repeatedly, they will consume the gaps between the television and radio shows we will attempt to enjoy.

Can't one candidate concentrate on telling us what they REALLY believe? Can't one candidate present where the stand clearly and stick to it? Can't one candidate just sell themselves without trying to take down the other person?

Set and example, show our youth how things should be done, represent yourself by talking about - gasp - YOURSELF.

Will anyone stand out from the crowd and be noticed?  I doubt it.

Do not ever allow the powers that be to bring you to the point where you do not want to vote, when we do not vote, the government gets control of our lives. Go out and vote stay in control.

Please watch this video Very important. Ron Paul is against this plan. Barak Obama and others are globalist and want it passed as well as the law of the sea treaty that will also help in removing American Sovereignty.

Princess9022 - My guess is the people of Detroit will vote for him again. We need term limits IMO.

I'll vote - I'm just expressing some frustration.

Regarding the videos above - this thread/blog isn't asking who's voting for who - please start your own thread for that. ;)

I've been looking for a place to discuss local issues for some time. These blogs are great and it is good to be able to share my thought on these issues with others that actually care.
