Maybe Germany Has Heard Enough Inspiring Speeches Photobucket

Only around 13,000 Americans live in Berlin. So what is motivating Berliners and Germans in general to treat a Democratic presidential hopeful to such a royal welcome? Maybe it's the hype and the food at the speech venue.  The turn out was estimated at 100,000 with the majority 20 years or younger.

In the wake of World War II, many Germans view charismatic leadership with mistrust. That, however, doesn't mean that ordinary Germans or the media are immune to the aura of a politician who knows how to work a crowd. But not everyone, of course, is euphoric about the conditions under which Obama will appear in Berlin.

Obama continued to espouse Change without any details as to what he will change or how.  Obama told the crowd "No one nation, no matter how large or powerful, can defeat such challenges alone."  This statement indicated Obama's lack of confidence in the United States and it's people.

This was by no means an Inspiring speech and the venue was right if He had been running for President of Germany.

Well on to Paris for photo opertunities at the Effile Tower and some French post cards.

You beat me to the punch!

Yahoo said there were over 200,000 people present.

Get this line: ""People of Berlin, people of the world, this is our moment. This is our time," he declared.

Sound hollow? It's because he speaks in generalities, like some cheap horoscop[e in the newspaper. Ever popular, they don't aount to much usefulness.

I beg to differ, If you look at the crowd you can see that maybe 30,000 showed up. And don’t forget about 20% of that was press, police ect. You are right that most of them were 25 years and younger.

If people havent figured out by now that Obama is for change that would destroy our nation by now then God please help them!He is preaching one world government if you listen to him.Thank God for the constitution! It should stop him.I believe he will be elected if all the black and hispanic people vote for him!90% of the black people are voting for him in one poll and I honestly believe most dont give a damn about what he does or does not believe.Hispanics are swinging his way because they cant get it out of their head that illegal immigrant does not mean hispanic people but ANYONE from ANY country that is here without legal authorization. The same laws that they would enforce against me if I were in their country illegally and they should!Obama is soft on illegal immigrants.Obama will make America look weak to the terrorists!

What I still cannot figure out is why these candidates are campaigning in foreign countries. And why our campaign laws allow them to do that. I fear that the same folks we see on Leno's "Jaywalking" bits will vote and bring this nation I love to her knees. God help us (I say that now because I fear that later I won't be allowed to.)

I am not saying there were 200,000 there, I merely stated what Yahell said was there. Regardless, he does draw similarities to Hitler. If this dude gets shot in the head and recovers, I'll know he's the antichrist for real.

That last comment is dependent on a literal or figurative interpretation of Revelation 13:3 by the way.

Some believe vs. 3 is referring to the actual Beast (antichris), whereas some use the figurative revised Roman Empire, a head of 10 federated kingdoms.

My point isn't the numbers that showed for the "Obama Dog and Pony Show", but that it is happening and where it's happening.

I couldn't resist the Grandeur of the Reich Speech. Of course Hitler's speech had more substance than that of Obama's speech.

Think of all the millions of dollars he has saved on campaign advertising by having the press pay for all this coverage.
