If the media would stop putting a camera in the front of Dr. Wright's face, then we wouldn't  have a lot of the so called controversy.

If you film it the public will watch it. I agree with him, he is not running for pubic office, but the media is not smart enough to realize that fact.

Corporate media needs to film my pastor; you would get just about the same thing.

Dr. Wright was spitting his nonsense long before the media put a camera in front of his face.

i cannot believe you refer to him as "Dr." it takes more than a degree to earn the respect of that title - and that goes for "Rev" too. he doesn't even deserve to be called "Mr."

Randy, I know Dr. Wright to be a person of integrity. A US Marine and a Sailor. I thank God that I didn't fall for the media hype. I have listened to his sermons for years and never found him to be a liar. When he tells you that he ran from bombs, it is true.

In America, we have the right to our opinions and I respect yours. I love the conversations of the 75 years of his life experience. He is a true man.

Actually, Randy, I want to agree with you so badly regarding his title, but unfortunately, all it does take is the degree (piece of paper) from an accredited institution to be called "Doctor."

He earned that one...regardless of his character...or lack of.

What I really dislike is the harm Dr.Wright did to what racial harmony we HAVE accomplished. However, if the truth be told, Dr. Wright was not lying in WHAT he said. It was HOW he said it. His timing was horrible, to say the least. I love America. But we have skeletons in our closet. We are not as righteous as some would have us believe. Since 2002, we have allowed the so-called "neocons" to ruin this country. Activities bordering on treason have gone unchallenged. Americans better wake up and "smell the coffee". Our beloved nation is headed for oblivion unless we demand change and return to the noble principles which this country was founded upon.

What Dr. Wright said with regard to the races in this country represents a feeling his generation has based upon their experiences. It is what it is; neither good nor bad, neither right nor wrong.

The "chickens home to roost" remark is accurate. Until we're willing to drill and refine our own oil, we will have to support regimes that oppress their people. If the North Koreans had 3 trillion barrels of oil, we'd probably let them have nukes.
