My fellow Hostonians:
Greetings once again and welcome to my post. A few weeks ago, me and a good acquaintance were out on the town. We called a cab originally b/c we both had been consuming prior to our outing thinking that it was the best decision for us to make before galavanting on our outing. When we arrived at our destination, we arrived a little bit earlier than anticipated and we offered the cab driver a drink as part of our compensation for the trip in which we owed for.
I was thinking to myself, "OMG! This is the person that we're holding responsibility for our arrival to and from the destination in which we paid him/her for." The cab driver gladly accepted the beverage and informed us that he/she would be available for us when it was time for us to leave our destination and go home.
Is it really safe to ride with a cab driver who gladly accepts an alcoholic beverage for compensation when it is them that we solely rely upon to get us to and from we need to go after the time of the event expires?

Thank You.
