All we keep hearing about during this campaign is rumors, innuendo & the ilk. I have an idea, let's all write the current candidates, our sitting President & all of Congress and ask the following:
What do you plan to do to secure our borders?
What do you plan to do about illegal aliens?
Why haven't Campean & Ramos been released? Why were they convicted & jailed in the first place? Why was a non-citizen provided more rights than these legal citizens?
What do you plan to do about the energy needs of Americans RIGHT NOW?
How many more private businesses do you expect the American taxpayer to bail out? Why?
How much more of my money are you planning take? Where are you planning to send it? Why?
Why have the illegals and other criminals been given superior rights over legal American taxpayers? How do you plan to address this travesty?
What do you plan to do about so called sanctuary cities that are ignoring & outright breaking Federal laws?
What do you plan to do about the broken public education system in America?
How much aid do you plan to send to other countries? Which ones? Why?
How much of a raise will you vote yourself this year? What have you done to deserve it?
This is a work in progress. Just the beginning for me. I plan to hand write this, sending originals to both campaigns & photocopies to President Bush & Congress. My hope is a written letter, stamped & mailed will get more notice than an email or a computer generated letter.
I look forward to seeing other's input to add to my questions for our so called "representatives". Probably need to send similar correspondence to my local and state "representatives" as well.

How many of you pro-abortion advocates have actually HAD an abortion? I can only think of ONE person I know that had one. She was my closest friend in high school, got pregnant her senior year & aborted the baby. Not because of health or anything ~ because she was young & a baby would have been inconvenient.
I saw her recently and she now has two children & continues to regret taking the life of another human being.
I find it hard to believe that I know only ONE person that had an abortion. Where are all of these women? If it is such a great decision for them, why are they not visible in the community? The only reason I know about my friend is because we were best friends at the time.
Every person I've seen interviewed that aborted a child regretted it deeply. These women have suffered nightmares and feelings of self loathing. Is this really what we want women to live with? For you pro-abortionists, I ask, how is this *good* for our citizens?
I'm curious to find those women that admit to having abortions in their past and are grateful they did so. Again, I've yet to hear of any women saying they were delighted to have taken a life.
Another point, why doesn't the sperm donor get a choice? He was instrumental in creating the child, why shouldn't he get a say?
For those that say life DOESN'T begin at conception, go back and watch those films of eggs being fertilized and the awesome growth that starts immediately.
Let the attacks begin...

I was born an American to American citizens. My grandparents & my parents later worked EXTREMELY hard to gain success. One granddad was a farmer in the midwest, the other worked for the county after retiring from serving in our GREAT Armed Forces. My father served in the Armed Forces of the US of A as well.
I keep hearing the cry of how we privileged Americans need to send to send our wealth and share our good fortune with other countries. Many of the other countries support corrupt governments. Why should I be expected to support these corrupt governments?
Unfortunately, there are times when these corrupt governments commit horrible atrocities on their own citizens. If the US tries to step in to save these innocent citizens, we are critcized for "policing the world".
I am tired of being expected to support these poor souls and then be ostracized for trying to rid them of oppressive governance.
Now, that oppressive governance is arriving in my own country.
I PREFER TO HAVE THE CHOICE OF TO WHOM I OFFER AID. THANKS ANYWAY FOR YOUR GUIDANCE, OBAMA (compellor of 'volunteer' service).

Heard on Fox 4 this morning that the salmonella DID come from jalapenos from Mexico. They've been trying to send them across the border since January. Our FDA needs to get their act together and protect the public from all of these types of illnesses brought on through lack of cleanliness.
And not just coming from other countries, from our own, too.

I posted this a week or so ago (it was moved to WEATHER?!) Based on the latest from DISD, seemed like a good time to re-post it.
I know I'll catch H E double hockeystix for this, but I'm going ahead into the fray!
One keeps hearing how today's youth has no respect for their elders, property, education, authority figures and on and on and on and on and on... ..lost myself there a minute!
It seems to me that all I keep hearing is how children should have the opportunity to just "be kids and not have to worry about anything but how to get to the movies tonight". Maybe we should give them back some responsibility.
Two hundred years ago, when kids were EXPECTED to pitch in and help the family just survive, children weren't out (for the most part) killing people, joining gangs, etc. Kids of today don't even have to take responsibility for their own education. Boy I sure did. My parents never seemed to believe that "the teacher just doesn't like me". Maybe those children of yesteryear were just too exhausted to cause much trouble. Hell, most of them carried their guns to school (if they even got to attend school) so they could maybe add something to the table that night.
I'm not saying we should put 6 year olds back in factories for 12-14 hour shifts. But just maybe we should remind them that they are HUMANS and we adults expect them to act as such. Even the children as recently as the 40's were raised to have respect for others and other's property.
We should discontinue thinking that no responsibilty or expectation of becoming self sufficient is a good thing to teach our youth. So many of today's kids don't even have to take on the task of raising their own children. Their enabling parents are doing it!! My mom always said she would watch my kids when and IF SHE wanted to, not to show up expecting a free babysitter. She would say "I already raised my kids & I damn sure ain't raising yours". I think this is what many more parents should be saying.

How does one NOT HEAR an infant being "eaten alive" by a dog. The story indicated this was perpetrated by a Labrador PUPPY that ate the baby while he was in a baby swing unattended for at least 2 hours.
WHAT?! I don't get it. And, on top of it all they euthanized the PUPPY. If it was a pup, couldn't it have been "rehabilitated"? And how does a puppy reach the baby in the swing? I'm torn on this story, it feels like something is missing.
Regardless, the egg donor of this child definitely derserves very harsh punishment.

It looks like my spouse was right; HOOTERS does have the best cheeseburgers & this kid knew it!!
How scary to have a 5-year old walking around town, stealing sodas, checking out HOOTERS, & no one notices?! Some one needs to be charged with not watching this kid at the daycare center.

I read that the "random shooter" was picked up & he stated he was targeting Hispanics & Asians. He is now being charged with a hate crime. Does anyone know if the two idiots that went to Garland "to rob rich white people" were ever charged with a "HATE CRIME"? If not, I want to know why; if so, HOORAY. Does anyone know?

I wanted to post about what I've experienced on these blogs. I've been "hiding" and reading the blogs on this site for several months. I finally figured I could do this with no problem & signed on. I have since discovered this is not as easy as I thought. I have found that my posts make me sound uneducated, sometimes racist, and my opinions don't appear well thought out! I wanted y'all to know, I'm not racist, I am educated and I have legitimate opinions. I don't think I'll try any new posts anytime soon. It has humbled me to no end!! Thanks for allowing me to comment on your posts and I look forward to reading more blogs from people that are better at putting their thoughts on paper than I am!!

To get everyone thinking...today is "Bring Your Dog to Work Day". What about cats, horses, monkeys? This is racism in its truest form. To discriminate against entire races of animals. Disgusting! HA! HA! Bet you racists thought you were going to have a blast fest!!
