You have GOT to be kidding me. Chris Crocker, for those of you that don't know, is a 19 year old boy living in Tennessee with his grandparents. He makes ridiculous videos, such as, "Leave Britney Alone". He just puts on some make up and cries into the camera. Pretty humorous if you ask me. 44 Blue Productions has signed Chris for a "documentary-soap". Whatever the heck that is. 44 Blue’s president tells the publication. “We consider him a rebel character that people find interesting. He’s going to be a TV star." What has this country come to? Is it really that easy to become rich and famous? Well count me in! I can act like a jacka** too.

I was listening to the radio this morning and they were talking about Kathy Griffin's acceptance speech for an Emmy. Apparently it's being censored for what she said; "a lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus." I'm sorry, but how is that offensive? I cannot believe something like that is being censored. Other people get away with so much more than that. She's Jewish, therefore, she doesn't believe in Jesus, so of course she wouldn't thank him. Do we not all have a right to believe in who or what we want anymore? Is the new standard to be required to thank Jesus? Maybe I don't have the full story. Her speech was labeled; "vulgar, in-your-face brand of hate speech." Am I missing something?

Yesterday I decided to check out the new Lake Mary Publix. I feel funny that a grocery store could have this affect on me, but it blew me away. The employees had new uniforms and were actually really helpful and friendly. There were 3 aisles of Greenwise or health food. Not to mention the area to the right when you first walk in. They have a beautiful deli and a whole hot foods area with a great menu. There's an asian food section with a wok set up to freshly prepare anything you want. Next to that is a grill and an area with filet mignon, twice baked potatoes and a huge variety of very fresh looking foods. I swear I don't own stock in Publix but I had to share this with you guys. If you get a chance, I definitely recommend checking it out. No pun intended. Who else has been there??

Hey all-
My boy, Tanner, is up for Pet of the Week. He has asked me to post a blog for him since he has no thumbs and cannot type. He would love for you to vote for him. Just look at those little pink nostrils. How can you resist? I .... I mean, he, would really appreciate your vote!
Lick,
Tanner

I hate to promote another station on Fox's website, but this show on ABC last night really caught my attention. It was called "The Last Days on Earth". The show was basically about the 7 ways the earth itself can kill us. Honestly, it scared the crap out of me but I'm glad I watched it. Guess what number one was? Global Warming. Big shock. Ironically, number one was the only one that we as humans could actually stop from happening. Did anyone else watch it? If not, here's a link and you can at least watch some of the clips.

This past weekend I was downtown hanging out with some friends. Everything was closing, so we left the bar and started in the direction of our car. Right outside on the streets were two cops on horses. They were trying to get everyone to keep moving and go home. The cops proceeded to usher the crowd in one direction with their horses! These weren't little ponies either, they were just short of Clydesdales. They didn't even just stay on the street either, they came up onto the sidewalk! No one knew what to do and everyone started running away and screaming. The cops caused complete chaos.
At the time, it was a little funny to watch this whole scene, but it really was so dangerous. I felt the cops completely abused their power. I know these horses are trained, but they are still animals. You cannot predict what an animal will do when it feels threatened or scared. What if one of these huge horses decided to kick? So many people would have been injured. Not to mention, that I assume many of the people in this situation were more than likely a little toasted after a night of drinking downtown. I just thought that it was totally unnecessary for the cops to practically chase people down the sidewalk with their horses. Any thoughts?
