As a former member of CHHC, I would like to hear from current CHHC members and ask them to answer some legitimate questions about why they remain after so many allegations against the leadership, in particular, Earl Paulk, over so many years.

Do you believe the allegations of sexual misconduct with certain children (such as Penni and Jessica), are false?

Do you believe that sexual relationships outside of marriage, within the context of kingdom relationships is acceptable behavior for Christians, either for the general congregation, or the more enlightened leadership?

Do you believe Earl Paulk is innocent of the charges brought against him by the Brewers?

Is Earl Paulk untouchable as in “Touch not my anointed”? Should people fear God’s wrath for bringing accusations against Earl Paulk?

These are just some of my questions for current CHHC members. I’m sure others that read this blog might have questions of their own. But in all sincerity, please feel free to express your opinions and answer the questions honestly and respectfully.

Former member of Chapel Hill Harvester Church. I am a Christian. I have attended various churches throughout my life. I was raised in the Roman Catholic Church, which I now consider to teach doctrine that is contrary to Scripture. I have attended Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, and many more protestant churches, even after my experience with CHHC. I find myself disillusioned with the institution of church, but my faith is intact. In fact I believe it is stronger now since I have become solely dependent on my Bible and the Holy Spirit for the all of my beliefs. I’m tired of having to test everything that comes from the pulpit, so with few exceptions, I prefer to not listen to so-called preachers. I do listen to some on occasion, but I take what they have to say with a grain of salt. If there is some good that came out of my experience at CHHC it is that I have become a healthy skeptic. Thank you CHHC for showing me what is false so that I can now easily recognize it. I hope to become a part of a church one day, but for now I will wait patiently while I learn what my part is in this life. bwr
