Yahweh Ben Yahweh, former cult leader linked to over 20 gruesome killings, dead at 71

Former cult leader Yahweh Ben Yahweh, who was linked to nearly two dozen gruesome killings in the 1980s and said to have ordered victims' ears cut off as proof they were killed, has died, his attorney said Tuesday. He was 71.

Yahweh, who had been fighting prostate cancer, died in his sleep Monday night, attorney Jayne Weintraub said.

The self-proclaimed "Black Messiah" founded the Nation of Yahweh and preached religious separatism for blacks. At the group's height, it claimed thousands of followers in Miami and elsewhere.

Yahweh was accused of sending close followers to kill "white devils" and bring back body parts as proof.

He served 11 years of an 18-year federal prison sentence for a racketeering conspiracy conviction stemming from his role in up to 23 killings and was released from prison in September 2001. He was never convicted on murder charges.

Yahweh was born Hulon Mitchell Jr. in Oklahoma. The eldest of 15 children, he became a preacher in Oklahoma, Weintraub said. He married and had four children but divorced before moving to Miami in the late 1970s, she said.

Two residents who resisted the group's 1986 takeover of a drug-infested apartment complex were allegedly shot. Ex-members turned up dead, and a Delray Beach neighborhood was bombed after residents and Yahweh's followers butted heads during a recruiting effort there.

Prosecutors said Yahweh also had an inner circle of group members called "The Brotherhood" or "death angels" that had to killed someone to join the group.

During his five-month trial in 1992, Yahweh dressed in white robes and a turban and often quoted the Bible. His sister and nephew testified that he ordered men, women and children to join in the beating death of sect member. An ex-member testified he ordered another follower executed for gossiping but spared his life after drawing blood with a machete.

Police officers, however, were among those who testified in his defense, Weintraub said. Ultimately, Yahweh and six others were convicted in the case.

In 1992 he was also indicted and tried in state court on first-degree murder charges, of which he was acquitted.

He was released early from parole supervision earlier this year.

His attorneys said at the time that he had advanced cancer and wanted to die with dignity, and his doctor wrote that he was unable to walk as a result of the disease. Prosecutors had argued that even though he was ailing he was still a threat.

Well, he knows now who is the real true God!

We have all heard the "dig deep" sermons, which make us feel guilty about giving to the Lord. Then there are the radio and television guys using every manipulative trick in the book to get us to open our wallets and give to them. At the core of all these "guilt laden" messages is the idea that to be a “good Christian” we must tithe. And if we don’t, based on Malachi 3:8-10, we are robbing God.

Of course, no one wants to “rob God.” But is tithing the New Testament standard for the believer today? Let’s take a closer look.

Tithing was an Old Testament law, mandated by God to the nation of Israel. It was a requirement of every Israelite family to give a tenth of their produce and livestock for the support of the Levitical priesthood. The word tithe literally means one-tenth or ten percent.

The tribe of Levi was the only tribe of Israel not given an inheritance in the land by God. They were rigorously set apart by God to perform religious duties in the temple and to serve as His representatives to the people. The tithes from the remaining eleven tribes served to provide for the Levites’ needs,  “I give to the Levites all the tithes in Israel as their inheritance in return for the work they do while serving at the Tent of Meeting”  (Numbers 18:21).

The work of the Levites merely foreshadowed the person and work of Jesus Christ. The writer of Hebrews describes that old system in this way: “The law is only a shadow of the good things that were coming –not the realities themselves” (Hebrews 10:1). The realities are found in Christ Jesus.

Through His death and resurrection, Jesus fulfilled all that the Law of Moses required, and in so doing, ended the Levitical priesthood. Christ finished their work forever. Jesus now stands as our high priest, and the only high priest. Every reality, which the Old Testament foreshadowed, can now be experienced through faith in Him.

When Jesus fulfilled the Old Covenant, He ushered in the promised New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31). Therefore, the old priesthood has been replaced by the new one – Jesus. Under this new covenant with its new priesthood in place, the old system of tithing no longer remains in effect. Under the New Covenant, we have a new way to share financially in His work here on earth - the grace of giving ( 2 Corinthians 8:7).

Under grace, giving is not a required activity as the law of tithing was. New Covenant giving is a natural overflow of God’s love in service to others as His Spirit controls us.

It is important that we see that God doesn’t want what is in our hands; He wants our hands. God doesn’t need money. He is far greater than limited human economic systems. God wants our hearts first, and then the right actions will follow.

As a child of God, giving should be a response to what Jesus Christ has already done and continues to do in our lives. The grace of giving flows from the heart. And it is in the heart that the Spirit of God does His work to transform us into people eager to share in God’s work.

2 Corinthians 9:7 summarizes the type of giving God desires for every believer. “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” We spend so much time focusing on the amount we are to give that we miss what truly matters to God. We look on the outside, and God looks at the heart. Only God’s grace can capture our hearts and produce in us overwhelming joy that wells up in generosity.

Since the Levitical priesthood has been replaced, that old system of tithing is no longer necessary. Under the New Covenant, we have a new way to share financially in His work here on earth - the grace of giving.

Presently in the U.S., we have a two-party political system which allows us to elect our leaders. The two dominant parties are those of the Democrats and the Republicans.

In this country, which was created by God through Jesus Christ, and which was discovered, formed, and developed in the name of Jesus Christ, we have been empowered to vote as citizens of this country by the U.S. Constitution and its edicts. This God-conscious constitution establishes a type of self-rule of the majority and individual rights of the minority. One primary way we exercise our rights is via the vote. Political leaders desiring elected office must woo a citizen’s vote. Each vote counts. If the Christian vote is central to that politician’s success, he will attempt to conform to Bible dictates. Hopefully, his convictions are more than just political aspirations. A Christian should exercise his or her franchise of the vote and convert as many as possible to the gospel, which in turn strengthens a Godly hold on this nation. God has placed a unique opportunity in our hands. It is the opportunity to individually promote righteousness and push back sin. Deuteronomy 30:19:

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

America is in the midst of a presidential campaign with both parties attempting to woo the Christian vote. Keep in mind that Jesus Christ is not on the ballot. But if, incognito, he ran for office on the dictates of the scriptures, his chances of being elected would be nil.

Concerning this election, the job of the Christian electorate is to vote for the candidate who most resembles Christ.

In the American political landscape, we have the conservatives (who are somewhat represented by the Republican party) on the right. The liberals (who are represented by the Democratic party) are on the left. The conservative position is, simply, adhering to Bible-based principles. The Bible, in fact, is the foundation of conservatism. Understanding this concept means understanding that Jesus Christ is the author of conservatism. Jesus Christ is a true conservative. The liberal position, on the other hand, is anti-Bible.

The true conservative position, and consequently Christ’s position on the following sampling of issues, is as follows:

1. Evolution. Jesus Christ is against it. He knows the world was created in six literal 24-hour days just over 6,000 years ago. His platform would be to eliminate the teaching of evolution from U.S. textbooks. See Exodus 20:11.

2. Abortion. Jesus Christ is against it. It’s staggering! Nearly one-third of America’s children are terminated in their mothers’ wombs. His platform would be to outlaw abortion. See Exodus 20:13, Luke 1:15, and II Timothy 3:1-5.

3. Capital Punishment. Jesus Christ is for it. His platform would be to execute guilty parties swiftly. See Genesis 9:6, Exodus 20:13, Romans 13:3-5, and I Timothy 1:9-10.

4. Homosexuality. Jesus Christ is against it. The word of God calls homosexuality an abomination. The Lord’s platform would be forgiveness for those who repent and turn from their deeds. He would favor laws totally outlawing homosexuality. See Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:21-32, I Corinthians 6:9-10, and Jude 1:7.

5. Gay Marriages. Jesus Christ is against it. Biblical marriage is, of course, between one man and one woman. Any other arrangement is considered gross error. Christ’s platform would be to ban it in America. See Matthew 19:4-6.

6. Salvation/Religion. Jesus Christ is for it. His platform would be that he alone is “the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father,” but by him. Eternal life can only be found through Christ Jesus. See John 14:6 and Acts 4:10-12.

A true Christian should vote for the candidate who holds the word of God without compromise. What if every candidate on the ballot is so anti-Christ that it makes it impossible to vote for any one of them?

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama shrugged off a crude comment aimed at him by the Rev. Jesse Jackson, accepting an apology for a remark Jackson made as he contended that Obama wasn't speaking to issues important to the black community.

Unaware that his microphone was on during a break for a Fox News program last Sunday, Jesse Jackson criticized Barack Obama for "talking down" to black Americans. In Chicago, Jackson was speaking to Dr. Reid Tuckson, a health care official, when a microphone picked up the Reverend saying:

"See, Barack been talkin' down to black people on this faith based [situation]. "I want to cut his nuts off." He's talking down to black people. When he learned Wednesday that the Fox News program "The O'Reilly Factor" would air his comments that night, Jackson apologized for "hurtful and wrong" remarks.

My Comment; So what brought on this hateful castrating remark? Obama stated, "That African American men need to be Fathers to their children. Many are MIA and AWOL, and are acting like boys, not men!" If any one looks at the statistics today, they will see that a large percentage of young Black men are not Fathers to their children because of many different factors. Drugs and Jail are the main two reasons! The ignorant reason is just no since of responsibility! Many young Black men are just having babies and are MIA and AWOL! Any boy can make a baby, but it takes a man to raise one! But than maybe that's why so many young Black girls are calling the father of their baby "My Baby's Daddy" instead of the Father of my baby, or my husband!

Was Mr. Obama wrong for pointing out a TRUTH about African American men? Did Obama talk down to Blacks?

Without a doubt, NO!   

What we have here is a blatant case of Jealousy! A man scorned by the fact that he (Jackson) once attempted to become President Of the United States and now the baton has been passed to a new generation with a new way of approaching issues that have plagued this country hundreds of years before Martin Luther King's movement in the 60's! That approach is to be truthful and point out what are the ills that effect African Americans and not just say to them, "Keep Hope Alive"! Jesse Jackson has wanted for many years to be a leader for African Americans, but never gained that notoriety as the Moses of Blacks! Now he (Jesse) sees a man that has gone farther than any other African American in Politics, including himself, and instead of backing Mr. Obama, he wants to openingly cut the man's balls off! Just what the White Racist have on their menu.

I have always said, that the problem with African Americans lie within the Race. Blacks like Mr. Jackson who show White America there is a problem within! How can you lead and unite people of all races when you have interior jealousy and backbiting! King pointed out racial problems, but never stabbed other Blacks who were making a positive mark for change while pointing out the social problems of Black families! African Americans like any other Race, can't live off of Keeping HOPE Alive along. One must recognized the problem within before change can happen socially! Yes! Wake up Black Fathers. Take care of your responsibility as a man and Father! Thus, Mr. Obama has only exposed what has been Taboo to talk about by many So Called Black Leaders who don't want to offend by speaking truth, but would rather be liked for hiding it! Sit back Jesse, shut up, and enjoy the ride! If it's God's will, you or no one else can stop it from happening.

Gods Position on Execution

Does God support capital punishment in the New Testament? The answer is yes. This feature article will address some new research just released concerning the death penalty. It will also cite new research that verifies the perfect wisdom of Ecclesiastes 8:11. "Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil."

GOD SAID, Exodus 20:13:

Thou shalt not kill. (The correct translation in Hebrew is Thou shalt not murder! Killing and murder are two different things. Murder is to lie and wait, or premeditate. Biblical example>>> Moses Killed, David murdered!

                       Genesis 9:6:

Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

God also says, no one should have pity for these cold blooded murderers as many Liberals do today! 

Why waste all those tax dollars to let them rot in jail, or in some cases, get out after a long sentence? God says send them to me!

When God says “Yes,” you can be certain that the champions of disobedience will say “No,” and so it is concerning the matter of capital punishment. In 1972, capital punishment was banned in the United States, but reinstated by the Supreme Court in 1976. During the abolishment of the death penalty in the U.S., the murder rate increased 100%. Human Events published the following statement by J.L. Jones:

“The idea that capital punishment ‘deters no one’ does not explain the rapid rise of homicides in America while the death penalty was virtually outlawed. Deterrent or not, it effectively eliminates the possibility of a repeat crime.” [End of quote]

The uninformed and those who simply contend that capital punishment is valueless (because God commanded it) continue to claim it is not a deterrent. This is in the face of considerable information to the contrary.

In Human Events, M.S. Evans said, “Nearly all the evidence we have shows capital punishment is a general deterrent to deadly crime...”

The State of Delaware executes more people per capita than any other state in the union and has a murder rate one sixteenth that of Washington D.C., which has the highest violent crime rate in America.

The following paragraph was found in the book, Capital Punishment:

“In 1976, the U.S. Supreme Court argued for both sides of the issue. In Gregg v. Georgia, the high court took the position that we may “assume safely that...the threat of death has little or no deterrent effect (on murderers) who act in passion.” But for murders that were well thought out, “the death penalty is...a significant deterrent.” [End of quote]

One particular study shows that convicted criminals, at a ratio of five to one, believe that the death penalty would deter them from murdering their victims.

The following passage is from a paper prepared by Dudley Sharp, titled, “Death Penalty and Sentencing Information In the United States:”

“The most conclusive evidence that criminals fear the death penalty more than life without parole is provided by convicted capital murderers and their attorneys. 99.9% of all convicted capital murderers and their attorneys argue for life, not death, in the punishment phase of their trial. When the death penalty becomes real, murderers fear it the most.” [End of quote]  Why? Their life is all they have left!

Witches -- Satanists -- Occult

Christians are required to hate sin and, in Christlike love, reach out to the sinner in an effort to separate him from his evil ways. So the statement, “Hate the sin but love the sinner,” applies. This article will begin to bring to light the reasons why God’s commandments and judgments against those who promote the occult are so severe. I should also caution that God’s judgments concerning this deviant lifestyle are not to be carried out by individuals, but by the appropriate lawmakers of the land. To those who practice such wickedness: God’s word councils you to turn and repent of your rebellion while there is still time.

God’s severe judgment and social abhorrence of the occult was once a mighty force against even the idea of attaching oneself to such evil. Once God’s word is negated, the evil door is opened and spiritual darkness begins to gain societal traction. This contagious unclean spirit of darkness begins to affect rebellious souls and in an ever increasing number. Satan’s entry into an individual’s life can be ever so subtle, as in the use of ouija boards, tarot cards, horoscopes, fortunetellers, palm readers, seances, etc. Beware!

Witchcraft: the practices of witches; sorcery; enchantments; intercourse with the devil.

Satanism: the evil and malicious disposition of Satan; a diabolical spirit.

Wizard: a conjurer; an enchanter; a sorcerer.

Familiar spirit: a demon or evil spirit supposed to attend at a call.

Necromancer: one who pretends to foretell future events by holding converse with the dead; a conjurer.

Enchanter: one who enchants; a sorcerer or magician; one who has spirits or demons at his command; one who practices enchantment, or pretends to perform surprising things by the agency of demons.

Charmer: one that charms, or has power to charm; one that uses or has the power of enchantment.

Today, the notion of spiritual darkness is regularly mocked and regularly promoted. The idea of witches, for example, has been glamorized in the popular media by American TV series such as “Bewitched,” “Charmed,” and “Crossing Over,” etc. Also, many motion pictures have promoted the principles of witchcraft, Satanism, wizardry, and the occult in general. If that sounds stretched to you, consider the global infatuation with the Harry Potter books and movies. Harry’s life is chronicled as he studies to be a wizard at the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. This is a huge door of darkness that will make entrance for millions of the world’s unsuspecting youth. Here's just two examples of Satan's takeover!

Richard Ramirez was known in southern California as the “Night Stalker.” In 1985 he was charged with burglary, rape, and the murder of 13 people. On his left hand is tattooed the five-pointed star known as the symbol of the devil, the inverted pentagram. This same pentagram was found spray-painted on the walls of some of his victims’ homes. Ramirez boasted of raping and murdering his victims as a tribute to Satan. He had a history of drugs and thrived on satanic themes found in some heavy metal music.

Remember New York’s Son of Sam who said Satan told him to do it? The voice of satan came from a dog named Sam! Just as the others of his ilk, he was simply walking in the powerful bondage of the spirit of Satan, murdering people. 

Jesus Christ said in John 8:44:

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. Beware!...and stay clear of this evil. Yes, all are created by God, but all are not of God!

This wickedness is global and its ranks are surging. Much talk is made of white witches, black witches, Satanists, etc., etc., in an effort to separate one from another, but be assured, all are cursed of God and will suffer his eternal fiery wrath. The evil door is opened and Satan takes those who enter at his will.

If any hearing or reading this message are involved in or are considering this cursed evil, turn quickly and cry out unto God through the saving blood of Jesus Christ for forgiveness and mercy and sanctuary, and Jesus Christ the Lord of Glory will set you free. Do it now before there is no longer a road of return.

GOD SAID, Deuteronomy 18:10 through 12:

10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

 Leviticus 20:27:

A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.

MAN SAID, “This is hilarious! These foolish Christians actually believe in devils, witches, wizards, and Satan, when they don’t even exist. They are simply a creation of the Bible. And the Bible’s commandment to kill them is absurd.”

Truth Knows No Opinion

Truth never changes; it is absolute. Two thousand years ago a man drove up in a chariot and committed adultery; today he drives up in a car. The mode of transport has changed, but not the motivation. No matter how many years pass, the nature of evil remains constant. The moral law of God and the truth of His word never change. It is just as powerful and consequential today as it was when it was declared to man from the very beginning of time. Those who refuse its directives will reap their sowing. There is no escape from this truth. The driving focus of Satan is to destroy the absolutes of God's word, the world's only source of truth.

Satan appears to be a very tolerant god...little g o d for he is the little g o d of this world. (II Corinthians Chapter 4, Verse 4) With Satan it's fine if you're a follower of Buddha or Mohammed or Hinduism or Confucianism. You can be a Satanist, a witch, an agnostic or atheist. You can embrace a multitude of men's doctrines and convoluted spiritual positions parading around in the name of Jesus. All of the above and much more are endorsed by Satan. The only thing that's off limits is the truth. Truth is God and Satan is positioned exactly opposite to him. God is life; Satan is death. God is light; Satan is darkness. God is good; Satan is evil. God is love; Satan is hate. God is faith; Satan is unbelief. Satan is 180 degrees out, exactly opposite of God. God is one; Satan is 36—opposite ends of the yardstick.

One common denominator exists in all the positions Satan endorses. That common denominator is rebellion against the word of God. Every position erected against the truth is simply a position of rebellion. There is no place for rebellion or stubbornness in the life of a child of God. Rebellion is Satan's oneness, just as obedience is God's oneness—just opposite ends of the measure.

Truth is absolute and has zero tolerance for anything that disagrees with it. Truth knows no opinion. Truth leaves no room for private interpretation. The truth in fact is its own interpretation.

When you understand, as Jesus said, that God's Word is Truth, it brings you to another profound understanding, which is found in John Chapter 1, Verse 1:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

God is a spirit and the Word of God is in fact, God. Words are spiritual. For God to accept something other than truth would be to deny himself and destroy truth...the absolutes. There can be no compromise. Truth is absolute in every way. Truth is constant and God is truth.

There is not even a shadow of suggestion of compromise. Truth cannot change and still remain truth. The passage of time does not change truth. What God hated when the words were written remains constant.

God's truth always remains truth. It is absolute and your majority-text King James Bible is the accurate English language accounting.

I must sacrifice my mind for the mind of Christ. I must sacrifice my opinion and the opinion of others for God's truth. Remember, truth knows no opinion. Truth never changes and by definition it is right.

Mixing God's word is the little leaven of damnation. It is the gray area of confusion and the lukewarm position that God spews out of his mouth.

Change absolutes and everything systematically degrades. It all began with one word...God's. But now, well over 1,700 religious sects, cults and denominations prevail and that number is continually growing. It has been the harbinger of untold violence, bigotry, death and war. Today some schools hand out condoms and condone abortion. A hundred years ago homosexual activity was a shameful, deviant deed. Today this evil unclean contagion has come out of the closet and gone mainstream, resulting in same-sex marriages and even the adoption of children by sodomites.

Once the absolutes of truth are broken and rebellion rules, the floodgates of Hell open and woe to the one who participates. Proverbs Chapter 23, Verse 23:

Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.

GOD SAID he never changes and that His word is the absolute truth.

MAN SAID, "There are no absolutes; truth is relative to time and one's social settings and the Bible doesn't pertain to this modern world."

Writing in the Vatican newspaper, the astronomer, Father Gabriel Funes, said intelligent beings created by God could exist in outer space.

Father Funes, director of the Vatican Observatory near Rome, is a respected scientist who collaborates with universities around the world

This question is carried further in the minds of men. Speculation abounds and vast resources are committed to establishing whether there is life in outer space. To evolutionists, it is the unholy grail...a type of missing link. If they find life in outer space, their false assumption is that it will prove the theory of evolution. By the way, the Word of God certifies that there is life in outer space.

MAN SAID that God did not create anything because He doesn't exist. The universe and humanity just popped out of nowhere and here we are. Surely there is life other than ours in this vast universe and when we find it, it will destroy the myth of God completely.

You may recall in the late 1990's the firestorm created by the media concerning the purported discovery of life on Mars. A great deal of the money the U.S. space agency has spent on sending probes to Mars—starting with two Viking landers in 1976—has gone toward trying to figure out if life ever took hold there. So far, scientists have found no proof there ever was, is now, or ever will be life on the Red Planet. In spite of man's lack of success, endlessly staring through high-powered telescopes, launching search satellites and probes, building expensive listening outposts, etc., etc., he continues to hope for the cosmic missing link.

 Imagine the scene. A hush spreads across the court of King Agrippa, as the Apostle Paul winds down his defense, discussing the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ: "This thing was not done in a corner. King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you do believe." Agrippa then says to Paul, "Very passionately delivered, Paul, but your tale is a fantasy. The tomb of this man you say rose from the dead is there, this day, outside Jerusalem! His bones rest alongside those of his mother and the rest of his family. Why you persist in this horrible and perverse lie to your own destruction is beyond me! Festus is right: you truly are mad!" 

Have you ever asked yourself these basic questions?

If there is a real God and if the Bible is His inspired revelation to humanity, then we should carefully consider what the Bible clearly says about these questions! For the Bible specifically says: “Prove all things, hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21, KJV). Again and again, the Bible clearly shows that most human beings are deceived. Describing the end-times, the Apostle John described the Devil in this manner: “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:9). The more than two billion “Christians” in the major denominations are part of the “whole world” that John described—and many are deceived! These people and their preachers do not intend to be evil. For a deceived person does not know that he is deceived! It is important that we understand that distinction.

So I am not being “mean” by writing the above, for the God of heaven commands me to preach the Truth. And I cannot help you if I simply share sweet platitudes and pretend that “all is well” when all is not well! For we are now nearing the very end of 6,000 years of human history under the influence of Satan the Devil—whom Jesus Christ called the “ruler of this world” (John 14:30).

Yet very few professing Christians even begin to grasp the enormity of the deception orchestrated by Satan the Devil. They find it hard to grasp the fact that Satan has not only deceived those in the pagan, non-Christian world, but that he has devised a counterfeit Christianity and has foisted it off on millions who sincerely think they are following the Christ of the Bible! As the Apostle Paul warned the Corinthians: “But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it!” (2 Corinthians 11:3–4).

All religions are not “equal!” If you are willing to prove to yourself that the One great Creator is the true God and that the Bible is His inspired revelation to mankind, then you must understand that there is only one way to eternal life. And that “way” is through the true Jesus Christ of the Bible! As the Apostle Peter stated, “Let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:10–12).

The great God will get mankind’s attention! He will help those who are willing to understand to “come out” of this modern Babylon (Revelation 18:4) and to extricate themselves from Satan’s society. The Apostle Paul was also inspired to tell us that Satan the Devil is the literal “god” of this world’s society! Paul wrote, “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them” (2 Corinthians 4:3–4).

The recent hurricanes that came smashing through Florida, New Orleans and the Gulf Coast of the United States are only a small prelude to what God will begin to do in these last days. Jesus Christ specifically predicted: “And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven…. And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken (Luke 21:11, 25–26).

Many in the world today don't believe in the true God of all creation, but we will all die and meet HIM! Will you be surprised when you die?

For all the scientists out there, and for all the students who have a hard time convincing these people regarding the truth of the Bible, here's something that shows God's awesome creation, and that He is still in control.

Did you know that the space program is busy proving that what has been called "myth" in the Bible is true?

Mr. Harold Hill, President of the Curtis Engine Company in Baltimore, Maryland, and a consultant in the space program, relates the following development.

I think one of the most amazing things that God has done for us today happened recently to our astronauts and space scientists at Green Belt, Maryland.

They were checking out where the positions of the sun, moon, and planets would be 100 years and 1,000 years from now.. We have to know this so we won't send up a satellite and have it bump into something later on in its orbits.

We have to lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the satellite and where the planets will be so the whole thing will not bog down.They ran the computer measurement back and forth over the centuries, and it came to a halt. The computer stopped and put up a red signal, which meant that there was something wrong with either the information fed into it or with the results as compared to the standards.

They called in the service department to check it out, and they said, 'What's wrong?' Well, they found there is a day missing in space in elapsed time.

They scratched their heads and tore their hair out.. There was no answer.

Finally a Christian man on the team said, 'You know, one time I was in Sunday School, and they talked about the sun standing still.' While they didn't believe him, they didn't have an answer either, so they said, 'Show us, '

He got a Bible and went to the book of Joshua where they found a pretty ridiculous statement for any one with 'common sense.'

There they found the Lord saying to Joshua,

'Fear them not, I have delivered them into thy hand; there shall not a man of them stand before Thee.'

Joshua was concerned because he was surrounded by the enemy!

And if darkness fell, they would overpower them. So Joshua asked the Lord to make the sun stand still! That's right... 'The sun stood still and the moon stayed and lasted not to go down about a whole day!'

(Joshua 10:12-13)

The astronauts and scientists said, There is the missing day! They checked the computers going back into the time it was written and found it was close but not close enough. The elapsed time that was missing back in Joshua's day was 23 hours and 20 minutes, not a

whole day.

They read the Bible, and there it was about [approximately] a day. These little words in the Bible are important, but they were still in trouble because if you cannot account for 40 minutes, you'll still

be in trouble 1000 years from now.

Forty minutes had to be found because it can be multiplied many times over in orbits. As the Christian employee thought about it, he remembered somewhere in the Bible where it said the sun went BACKWARDS.

The scientists told him he was out of his mind, but they got out the Book and read these words in 2 Kings that told of the following story: Hezekiah, on his death bed, was visited by the prophet Isaiah who told him that he was not going to die. Hezekiah asked for a sign as proof. Isaiah said 'Do you want the sun to go ahead 10 degrees ?'

Hezekiah said, 'It is nothing for the sun to go ahead 10 degrees, but let the shadow return backward 10 degrees.' Isaiah spoke to the Lord, and the Lord brought the shadow ten degrees BACKWARD! Ten degrees is exactly 40 minutes!

Twenty-three hours and 20 minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in Second Kings make the missing day in the universe! Isn't it amazing?

The issue of global terrorism is just one more example of God’s existence, and that He authored the scriptures.

Abraham was a very rich and powerful man. He was getting very old and it appeared that Ishmael, his only son, would inherit his great wealth. But God spoke to Abraham and told him that Ishmael was not the one He had chosen to carry the seed of faith. God told Abraham that he would sire a son in his old age with his wife, Sarah, who was 90 years old. When Abraham was at the age of 100, his son Isaac was born. The seed of faith, which was Christ, was in faithful Abraham and was passed on to Isaac and not Ishmael.

So the Bible states, “In Isaac shall thy seed be called.” Isaac was the father of Jacob. God changed Jacob’s name to “Israel.”

Ishmael was 13 years old when his half brother, Isaac, was born. He and his mother, Hagar, were bitter against this child of promise, which unknowingly, made them bitter against the plan of God to bring salvation to a lost and dying world. Ishmael mocked Isaac, demonstrating the deepening hatred he had for his half brother. Ishmael and his mother, Hagar, were sent away without an inheritance from Abraham.The rift between Ishmael and Isaac is deep. The hatred and animosity grew, and has been passed down from father to son for nearly 4,000 years.

It may come as a surprise to many to discover that Moslems call themselves Ishmaelites. Why? Because they are the decendents of Ishmael! The Moslem religion was begun around 600 AD by their prophet Mohammed – long, long after the word of God was written. According to history, Mohammed had married a rich wife and no longer had to work. He would spend his days meditating. He was being plagued with violent seizures and frightening visions. Having conveyed to his wife his suspicion that he was being tormented by demons, she assuaged his fears and said he was being instructed by God.

In 610 AD, long after the Word of God was given to man, the Ishmaelites launched the teaching of Mohammed. Those of you who know the record in the Word of God, know that Abraham was directed by God to take Isaac, the child of promise, to the land of Moriah and sacrifice him there. Those who know that story also know that God’s intention was only to try Abraham’s obedience and not actually have him sacrifice Isaac. The Moslem revisionists teach that it was not Isaac that Abraham went to Moriah to sacrifice, but Ishmael. They claim that Jews and Christians changed the original text to create a picture that favors them. The reality is that that is exactly what the Moslem doctrine did. Unfortunately for them, we have the original autographs in the Old Testament Masoretic text and in more than 5,000 handwritten majority-text New Testament manuscripts.

The terrorists who attacked America are purported to be Moslem “extremists.” These “extremists” call for all Moslems to rise up and kill Christians and Jews. It is commonly reported that only a small number of Moslems are of this ilk, but after viewing the huge Moslem demonstrations around the world, the long-standing Palestinian chant to destroy all Jews, and the Moslem label for America as “The Great Satan,” it makes one wonder how small the population of the extremist is. Take note that Moslem terrorists want to kill Christians and Jews. What do you think these two groups, Christians and Jews, have in common? They are both seed of faithful Abraham and that seed is Christ Jesus.

God said 6000 yrs ago that one son (Isaac), "shall thy seed be" Gen 21:12; and the other son born not of the Spirit, that he (Ishmael) "would be a wild man".

 "And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren."  Gen 16:12

Today the world has seen and now knows the word of God foretold!

The Ishmaelites (Moslims) contend for the same Israeli land. The Ishmaelites contend for the same Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Ishmaelites contend for the same Abrahamic birthright.

                 They have no right to any of the three!

As a final note, let there be no question in your mind that America was attacked on September 11, 2001 for only one reason: because we are friends and supporters of Israel. God says He will bless those who bless Israel. The Ishmaelites have attacked the seed of Abraham. The Moslem president of Iran said he will bring about Armageddon, and he very well may. We as Christians can only sit back and observe what is going on in the world today!  God's script has been written before the foundation of the world and there is nothing that any man can do to change the script! FOR IT IS WRITTEN!

Antichrist > From the Greek word Antichristos; an opponent of the Messiah.

An antichrist is one who deceives others by denying that Christ is God come in the flesh. "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist" (2 John 7 ). This is the ultimate deception, namely, that the Incarnation did not occur; anyone who denies this is "the deceiver," "the antichrist." By such deception the ultimate in apostasy occurs: Jesus Christ, the Word become flesh, is spurned.

I have quoted from John's second letter. In his first letter, John emphasizes that it is "the last hour" because of the many antichrists that have appeared: "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." (2:18). Later he adds, "Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son" (v. 22). Still later in this letter John speaks about "the spirit of antichrist" (4:3) being now present in the world.

Incidentally, there are no other occurrences of the word antichrist in the New Testament.  I have mentioned all of them: 1 John 2:18, 22; 4:3; 2 John 7.

From these statements there is no suggestion that "antichrist" or "the antichrist" is a particular person. But anyone who denies the coming of Christ from the Father, that "the Word became flesh, and that that word is God" (John 1:14). Thus, many antichrists have come, and many more will come. For "the spirit of antichrist" is in the world-all the way to the end. What, then, about "the last hour"? It is "the hour" of the multiplication of antichrists (again see 1 John 2:18).

The antichrist, then, is not one who commits such sins as murder, adultery, and theft-even to the maximal degree. Rather he is actually far worse than any of this, for he deceives people about Jesus Christ. In this wicked deception (which ultimately goes back to the Deceiver-Satan), he shuts the door to eternal life. He is "anti"-opposed to-"Christ." This is the ultimate evil, and his activity is the ultimate deception. For there is no greater tragedy in the world than that of turning people aside from Christ, the Son of God, who has wrought mankind's salvation.

In a social climate of complete equality in all things, the biblical teaching of only allowing men to be pastors and elders is not popular. But than this article is not about being Politically correct or popular! It's about TRUTh in God's word!

Many feminist organizations denounce this position as antiquated and chauvinistic. In addition, many Christian churches have adopted the "politically correct" social standard and have allowed women pastors and elders in the church because of profit and increase membership. But the question remains, is this biblical?
     My answer to this question is, "No, women are not to be pastors and elders." Many today don't like that answer, but it is, accurate and  biblical. The church was not created until after Pentecost! Nowhere in the New Testament can one find a woman Pastor, and since there was no church in the Old Testament, there were non neither. Women Helpers yes! 

Paul had women helpers, not women Pastors! 

So all those Pastors who are allowing their wives and other women to be Pastors in their churches, or those women who create churches of their own, are out of God's order!

Simply not Biblical! 

     First of all, women are under-appreciated and under-utilized in the church. There are many gifted women who might very well do a better job at preaching and teaching than many men. However, it isn't gifting that is the issue, but God's order and calling. What does the Bible say? We cannot come to God's word with a social agenda and make it fit our wants. Instead, we must change and adapt to what it says.
     In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, the garden of Eden, and Adam and Eve. He put Adam in the garden and gave him the authority to name all the animals. Afterwards, God made Eve as a helper to Adam. This is an important concept because Paul refers to the order of creation in his epistle to Timothy when he discusses the relationship between men and women in the church context. Let's take a look.
     "But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being quite deceived, fell into transgression" (1 Tim. 2:12-14. This passage has several interesting areas of discussion, but for our purpose we will focus on authority. At the very least, there is an authority structure set up by God. The woman is not to have authority over the man in the church context. But this does not extend to the political/economic world. In the Old Testament Deborah was a judge in Israel over men. Also, in the New Testament, Phoebe played an important role in the church at Cenchrea (Romans 16). There is no doubt that women supported Paul in many areas and were great helpers in the church (Act 2:17; 18:24; 21:8). But what Paul is speaking of in 1 Tim. 2 is the relationship between men and women in the church structure, not in a social or political context.
     When we look further at Paul's teachings we see that the bishop/overseer is to be the husband of one wife (1 Tim. 3:2) who manages his household well and has a good reputation (1 Tim. 3:4-5, 7). Deacons must be "men of dignity"(1 Tim. 3:8). Paul then speaks of women in verse 11 and their obligation to receive instruction. Then in verse 12, Paul says "Let deacons be husbands of one wife..." Again, in Titus 1:5-7, Paul says, "For this reason I left you in Crete, that you might set in order what remains, and appoint elders in every city as I directed you, namely, if any man be above reproach, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, not accused of dissipation or rebellion. For the overseer must be above reproach as God's steward..." Notice that Paul interchanges the word 'elder' and 'overseer'.
     In each case, the one who is an elder, deacon, bishop, or overseer is instructed to be male. He is the husband of one wife, responsible, able to "exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict" (Titus 1:9). We see no command for the overseers to be women. On the contrary, women are told to be "dignified, not malicious gossips, but temperate, faithful in all things" (1 Tim. 3:11). Why is it that it is the men who are singled out as the overseers? It is because of the created order of God that Paul references (Gen. 1-2; 1 Tim. 2:12-14). This is not merely a social custom that fell away with ancient Israel.
     Additionally, in the Old Testament in over 700 mentions of priests, every single one was a male. There is not one instance of a female priest. This is significant because priests were ordained by God to hold a very important office of ministering the sacrifices. This was not the job of women.
     Therefore, according to the word of God and not of man's logic and interpretation, Genesis 1-2, 1 Timothy 2, and Titus 1, the normal and proper person to hold the office of elder/pastor is to be a man.
