Remember that story about dirty hotel room glasses?  Well, it really hit a national nerve.  A few months back I taped a segment about this story on the Tyra show.  
Check it out.  It airs Monday on Fox 5.  
By the way, she really is nice and she's more beautiful in person.

Actually she was more beautiful in person than she is on TV. And, nicer than you can imagine.

During a long road trip through West Virginia not too long ago I had to get a room. There wasn't a wealth of choices that night but I did finally come across one of those econo-chains. We got in the room and before I could even sit down I noticed the towels hanging on the rack looked like someone had just dried their hands off with them. Cups were left sitting on the counter next to the nearly full coffee pot. I wasn't about to turn the bed down and see what condition the linens were in. There was another room available and I got a nice little discount, but it did give me the willies as to how much effort goes into cleaning the rooms.

By the way, when you did the Tyra show did you stay in a hotel? Just wondering how that went for you.

I'm not as serious as I look on TV. I love to laugh even if it's at my expense. I'm just not very PC. My friends would describe me as "black and white." Not a lot of gray. My co-workers call me Elaine from Seinfeld. I'm generally disheveled and have a messy car. I have really curly hair, but the station doesn't like it that way. I love my husband because he's funny. I also love red wine, rare steak, dark chocolate and strong coffee. I'm Type A, so of course, I wish I were smarter.
