Angie Wilford,   the realtor in the Season One Flip This House stories seen working with Sam Leccima, has posted her opinions about the coverage of Sam on her web site.

I am including her statement  below, since so many people have written about and asked about Angie.

For your understanding – Associated Press picked up our story on Sam Leccima and ran it. They also ran a picture of the wrong house, one renovated by Angie – not Sam Leccima.  That is what she is talking about when she mentions” retracted photos”

Angie Wilford Statement:

It is very important that everyone know that I am not affiliated with Sam Leccima in any way nor are any of the Season 3 cast. The media has grossly convoluted and misrepresented the stories relating to "Flip This House". The stories presented were on Sam Leccima, however, they have meshed unrelated stories and it has gotten out of hand.  The Associated Press (AP) has retracted photos and made statements as of yesterday (6/4/07) relating to those misprints due to a lack of fact-checking. I have never done a real estate transaction with Sam Leccima....ever.   Reality TV and real life are very hard to separate for most viewers and I now know there is a fine line when it comes to the "dramatization" angle that is integrated into every episode via the editors of the show. It is not an angle that is meant to deceive, trick or falsify. I am a Real Estate Professional and adhere to the Real Estate guidelines set forth via the Real Estate Commission first and foremost.

Upon first hearing of the many allegations of fraudulent activities last year, I immediately severed all ties with any clients that used Leccima's services after purchasing their homes to renovate as I am a professional of integrity.  I also informed them of the allegations. I started Season 3 with an entire new cast, thus the culmination of Season 3 on "Flip This House". Our team takes pride im renovating homes and putting them on the market to sell.  There are those who, for any reason, want to think, assume and relish in the thoughts that most people are fraudulent and deceptive, however, I felt it very important to let everyone know where I stand. I will remain standing tall as I always have...with pride. For those who want to rejoice in seeing or hearing something "negative" other than what is alleged pertaining to Sam Leccima, that is a personal choice and is okay too.

It wasn't the 'editors' that were filmed putting a SOLD sign on a house that wasn't 'sold', Angie. It was you

Exactly, she can save that self-serving BLEEP statement for someone who gives a damn.

I read her statement & it is a bunch of bull****. She states that she never did a transaction with the Leccimas. Well duhhh! That is because they never owned any of the properties. She pretended to find properties for him & do contracts for him to purchase them. Then she pretended to do contracts for the people that supposedly purchased the properties. Either way you look at it, she is still a liar & deceiver. She can't be trusted any more than the Leccimas.

David and I have recently walked away from Flip This House for many reasons. We recieve hundreds of emails asking us if the last show was "staged". David has refrained from talking about it until NOW.

He will TELL ALL on a telecast on Wednesday Night. June 13, 2007.

"Dear Friends & Associates,

For over a year now you have peeked into my business life and have shared in some very fun and trying times with my family and myself. As I am sure you all know there have been many changes that have gone on within Montelongo House Buyers, and there is definitely more to the story than was presented to the general public, I want to share these very personal events with all of YOU. ....... Angie can keep that. Real life and Reality TV (come on). You lied Angie, you sold fake deals for Sam. Just be a big girl and say so and move on. Stop lying so much.

Angie, Angie, Angie. Give it up sweetie. If you were soooooo innocent, why did it take you over a month to contrive a few paragraphs to explain yourself? If you didn't have anything to do with Sam, who was that woman on Flip This House with the bad weave?

There is no way in hell she didn't know exactly what was going on. I'm surprised the Georgia Real Estate Commission isn't investigating her.

As a licensed Real Estate Broker and investor in Kentucky is saddens me to see this BLEEP on TV. The time frames/costs and profits are all make believe. I feel sorry for the viewers that decide to start flipping after they watch the show. They are going to be in for a rude awakening.

The RE commision should be suspending her license. That is misrepresentation to the fullest and a huge violation. If they are suspending licenses of people who can't pay back student loans, why not get her. She is a phony and just using this to make herself seem like a great agent. If she was so inocent why would she not sue the station for slander. Or better yet just come on t.v. and state her claim. If I were inocent I would and I am sure most people who are will come and speak put for themselves. RE commision where are you.

If she was so inocent the Venetian Drive listing has been switched to another agent in the company. Why?

When you go to the website of the investors that Angie & Harris are supposedly consulting & contracting with, www.foundationsllc.com, they claim to do consulting work for want-to-be investors & they state that they’ve been in business since 2005. If that is the case, why would they need Angie to consult them on their renovations? Also, there is another agent in the office with Angie that now has the renovated properties listed for sale. It seems to be a lot of lies surrounding all of this mess. Also, one of the co-founders of Foundations Investment Group, Peter Pasternack, has a questionable past. I ran across this article on him.

Here's something interesting:

According to Dekalb Co Tax Records, Angie and Harris' favorite investors, Foundations Investment Group, PURCHASED the home they renovated on May Avenue AFTER the flip was complete. The tax record shows the home sale in February 2007 for $321k, but the current owner is - guess who - Foundations Investment Group.

My questions: Who owned it DURING the flip, and why is this house be positioned as a successful sale?

And is it me, or is it strange that none of their homes for sale appear to be listed in MLS or FMLS? I was able to find an FMLS number on the house at 2209 Venetian Drive, but was told it was no longer valid when I tried to look up the listing. I couldn't find any numbers on the May Avenue or Van Epps house.

OK,since we are looking at Reality TV, then let's be real. I've been an investigative reporter in Atlanta since 1981. I rarely wear a jacket. Too hot. I love chasing crooked politicians. I hate surveillance stories. Too hot in the van. (See picture) My desk is a mess. I don't smoke. I do drink. I have a politically incorrect sense of humor and a little problem with authority. (I'm working on that) And, I never get my expense reports in on time.
