Public Transportation ...SAFE?

Here's a cute story for all of you who seem to be blinded by political correctness about how safe public transportation is....

A man was stabbed to death and then decapitated on a Greyhound bus travelling through Portage la Prairie, Man., early Thursday, witnesses confirm.

Witnesses on the bus told CTV's Murray Oliver that a young man, between the ages of 18 to 20, was killed.

"He was listening to music when suddenly the person next to him began to stab him in the neck with... a large butcher knife," Oliver reported Thursday from Brandon, Man., where the passengers have since been taken.

Oliver said the bus driver pulled over and some of the 37 passengers began to flee.

"A number of people decided to go back and see if they could help," said Oliver.

"They returned to the back of the bus to find that the person who was stabbing the person in the neck had now sawed off the head of (the victim)."

Just remember, when you ride public transportation you ride with strangers.  All kinds of strangers!.

A good rule to live by... be polite, be professional, BUT, have a plan to kill everyone you meet! Now you may think I'm nuts, but until you have objective data to support your trust then caution is paramount.

Wonder if we'll hear that this guy was muslim, they like cutting off heads, nah canada( is a nation of political correctness)

Ya know, I really do support "public transportation" however, it must be safe. Whether it is made safe by others allowed to bring on weapons or security personnel.

A little over the top but a good rule of thumb on public transportation.

We NEED public transportation! The problem is that some of the people that ride it don't have a bit common sense thier mother or father failed to instill in them. And we can thank generations of welfare recipients who were victims of thier own apathy and victims of a government program that encouraged it.

I was thinking the same about whether or not this guy was a MUSLIM. Seems to fit the M.O.

I don't give trust out freely like candy. If someone was sitting next to me, I sure as hell would be attentive to what the person sitting next to me is doing! I would NOT goto sleep or rest my eyes. I'll sleep later.

Cro! heheheheheh I told a group of guys, just before they decided they should leave me alone, that they could take me, but sooner or later you gotta sleep! Funny, they decided to walk away.... just before the shooting started!

If that bus was passing through Georgia instead of liberal Canada it would be possible that idiot with a knife would be pushing daisies instead of his lawyer pleading his insanity defense. Again the law abiding citizen with a weapon permit may save your life someday because the crazy idiots with knives who like to rob or hack you up doesn't need a permit for it.

Mmmm. Needs updating. Okay, I love animals ..for they are the only ones who actually tell the truth ALL OF THE TIME! I guess I search for TRUTH in everyting ..even if it hurts. (And sometimes it does!) I'm a VET...(ie..Veteran..not a VETINARIAN). Not too bright sometimes...Genius at others. Religion? ..Yeah there is a GOD but I haven't found a religion yet that he (GOD) belongs to. Not too serious. Like to laugh. LOVE CLUBBING BABY SEALS! They make the cutest sound when you whack them over the head with your Club!
